DXY chart is now turning into a horror story. it's fallen out of a huge 10 year wedge and whilst there is a bit of support likely around 90 (probably be there pretty quickly now), it looks likely to suffer some significant falls thereafter.

Am really struggling to see what is now going to hold gold price back for too much longer now

Cinoib,

1) SRB AISC risen due to Covid restrictions (temporary reduced production) - smaller scale operation than AAZ and they have a greater Covid impact than AAZ being in Brazil - this is temporary.

2) SRB has a (trasparent) path to an extra c38k oz annual production with recent aquisition (just awaiting licence). This new mine will lower overall AISC to around $850/oz.

3) SRB new ore sorter has demonstrated capability to increase current production to around 45k oz p/a once back to pre-Covid production levels.

3) You are comparing share prices, when you should be comparing market caps! SRB today is valued at around £60m, a third of AAZ give or take..

4) Finally - you are using the p/e ratio based on 2019 results, at an average gold price of $1,376, before the ore sorter was purchased (which increases production by around 5k oz at no additional running cost). SRB is a lower margin producer than AAZ, with higher AISC, so the move from 2019 gold price to today's price is benefitting the company more than it has AAZ.

Both companies are v underavalued and I hold both.

Mattjos, tell you what mystifies me is SRB results out 2 weeks ago erns 4 mill and is on a pe of 23 and has just gone to £1 a share yet AAZ on a pe of 11 is only worth £1.50, the only good thing abut SRB is the spread is a bit smaller but the company leaves a lot to think about. I did have a few back at 58p and sold out at about 83 but thought it was getting to pricey after I saw the last lot of results 3 months back, although the recent results are an improvement at 23 times earnings an aisc of 1,200+ is way over priced.
I have been in AAZ since 2009 but the spread and the share price then were both about right, for a goldie this size a 1p spread and an share price around £2 would be fair value, but the spread is the killer.

DSV looking good Wan, Cordero looks the real deal and I am continuing to buy here. AUG (Auryn Resouces) also worth a look. Company is splitting into three parts and shareholders will get shares in each new company. Ivan Bebek is the driving force here, well worth an hour reading up on this bank holiday weekend with a pot or two of Yorkshire Gold.

Mattjos, I am sure you are aware that you have disciples. When I see sales of AAZ, which I know and agree is finally about to take off, I inevitably wonder if the funds are not jumping into GFM shares.

m-f, perhaps the correlation between gold going up and AAZ going down needs to be fixed first! :¬)

Will we get a repeat of the September 2018 triple whammy that took share price from stuck in the 40s to touching the 90s in short order?

LOOKING AHEAD:-

With the two financing's completed we are now well funded with over $80 million in cash.

Support for these financing's reflects the exceptional exposure Cordero offers to increasing silver prices and the progress we have made over the past 12-months in exploring the Project following the acquisition of Levon Resources Ltd.

Moving forward we are focused on the diligent deployment of this capital in the following areas:

Expansion of the higher-grade bulk-tonnage domain at Cordero

Systematic assessment of the extensive vein trends flanking the Cordero deposit

Follow up metallurgical test work based on our improved understanding the Cordero project to optimize the proposed flow sheet...

Completion of the socio-economic and sustainability assessments required to advance Cordero beyond the preliminary economic assessment stage

This work will culminate in a brand-new resource estimate and preliminary economic assessment for Cordero in the second-half of 2021.

Separately, we will be advancing our property-wide exploration targets including initial drill testing of other large interpreted intrusive centres on our sizeable land package.

In September we can look forward to interim results, the interim dividend announcement and a JORC update, as a minimum. I would suggest all are likely to be good news announcements. Lots to look forward to. Enjoy the bank holiday weekend folks!
