So with both the House and Senate and committed to Green Deal, wiping the $1trn in Student Debts, Universal Income and all other sorts of nonsense....

Deficits and QE will balloon.

It's a real risk. Well, a risk to the USD.

both Apple & Tesla up after stock split appears to make the stock look cheaper and more obtainable to more investors,,, can't help but think AAZ could do with one,,,, but, I realise others do not and what do I know!!! Cheers Wan :-)

m-f, perhaps the antics in the USA of shall we chuck 1 $ trillion at it, or should it be $2 trillion? Is what is driving gold? It seems to me that there's every effort to get inflation going in the USA, perhaps to lower the dollar for trade reasons, but also to create an excuse to return to normal rates of interest and thus relieve the pressure on pension funds. Although the largesse could also be to buy votes in the election which is about 12 weeks away.

Wowzer indeed WAN. For once some of you on here got that one wrong. I should have kept hold of them but thought the fundraise ( correctly predicted by same people ) would knock the price considerably. Still i chose to sell ! Could have doubled my money already ! With so many negative posts from long term holders there too i thought it was safer to sell. I still dont get why it has risen so much already. There is likely to be strong resistance to do anything in ireland by the sounds of it !

If gold continues to move up this afternoon we could see fireworks. The retrace should have been more prolonged. If that is it, then something that should have happened didn't, which is important.

Back on the subject of buy backs. This would have been a great time to have a policy to take shares off the market sub 150p. AAZ seems to go up less than the rest of the market and go down further than the other gold miners. HOC is up 7% as I type!

I tried to get some PUR too CMB. Looks like you beat me to it ! I bought a few more AAZ instead. Might top up on some TSG if the price keeps falling there.I know what you mean WAN but the price of gold has bounced strongly off the overnight lows so ive added a few pounds worth. Still keeping some cash though.

well done cmb, nope, took them off the order book yesterday and now waiting for the dust to settle,,, not yet convinced this fall in gold price is over, as per my chart, so I'll wait now,, see what happens when the US opens this afternoon :-) cheers Wan :-)

Good morning all.

Wan,PUR went down to 97.8P on the open this AM. I did another top up of 5320 shares,it went into auction while I was on the phone. I then had to pay £1.02.
I hope your limit order kicked in,
ATB and GLA for today.

With the biggest slump for decades unfolding, then pretty soon anything that creates jobs will be seen as a lifeline. Some noisy nimby's trying to stop people getting real jobs might find their 'greeness' isn't so welcome.

AAZ we know will get quickly marked down in 5p shifts based on the tiniest of selling pressure/volume,,, always does,,, but, tis nothing to worry about long term and indeed anything really stupid many who follow it will raid the piggy bank to buy more :-) me thinks,,,, as per Rb's comments & those of WB&CM above, with AAZ, best not to fret over the share price at all,,, just relax in the knowledge of how much money they are making at 1900 Gold :-),,, Cheers Wan :-)
