No it isn't . Been trying to buy some PUR and yet i cant get any . Price now over 100p on screen but still none to buy. Market seems to have reacted very calmly so far!

Should have listened to my gut the other day when I said I felt gold was looking a bit high. Hey ho hopefully back up we go.

After reading articles last week i sold all gold and one silver play last week finished on Monday incredible run /// unfortunately all commodities have pull backs miners go up quick but come down quicker bit like petrol at the pumps but other way round.
Biggest holding now for me is DDDD have also trin ptal, plus i3e one i should have sold in its forties and made a small fortune but hey ho cant win them all///// cash rich now sitting on my hands lets see how things go

Gold hit a low around 1865 overnight but has moved above 1900 this morning. Could be an interesting day. Not long until the opening

About as much use as the tea leaves but I’ll go with it Wan :) not as it matters either way to me one jot.

Looking forward to this quarter results and next financials, then AAZ will really “show me the money” and anyone else with eyes open!

The dividend at AAZ offers added protection on days like this. I think it will fair the best today of the gold miners.

Wan the rise was too rapid and many bulletin boards were noticeably rampish on P.M’s and stocks, this will calm a few and take money and heat out.

Incidentally, did you spot any gaps on the gold chart on the way up?

Brent at 44.73 :-)

Hopefully the drop in PM's has at least taken out a lot of the leverage which must surely have been building over the past month and I suppose to be back testing the lower end of the long term rising channel we'll need to see around 1714 tested as shown below.... afaic the faster we get there the better now,, I'd like to find that new base & be building from it by the end of Friday if possible Mr Market :-)

There is a lot of opposition to the gold mining in NI. Billbords declaring it is toxic and opposing it have been popping up along roads for a couple of years. The Irish opponents if not able to prevent the mine from happening will hinder and cause increase in time and costs. Who knows if it will be taken through the courts or if Irish will use old worn tatics to disrupt?

If AAZ stands out from the crowd it wouldn't be the first time.

Some of the hot money has already gone ..c1. 6 mill still held in IG spreadbets from my knowledge currently but quite a few of those held by a small number of investors in large lumps.

Hang on in there mate I feel you will be rewarded if you hold long term.

NA goldies took a bath tonight.

Barrick down 9% - Newmont 7%. Gold spot now $1910 - down 6%, Silver spot @ $25 - down 15%.

Bar a miracle tonight in Asia, tomorrow is going to be awful.

The question is whether AAZ follows this or worse, or for once stands out from the crowd.

LT this may be the best thing since sliced bread but gold shares are in for some ST volatility.
