From a more recent shareholder's perspective, probably the most crucial question is the date of this "happening" and who was in charge at the time: it all sounds quite extraordinary.

The truth may well lie somewhere between my naivety and your paranoia.

Certainly in the past (but not on this occasion) I have 'felt' we were being manipulated. I had no proof. Nor do you(?).

Hi Tony,

Yes I thought I would have a look in after seeing the price fall back from about 31p, I am tempted to buy some, I take your point about soft targets but I am no longer bitter against anyone, its history now, long ago, but that's life.

I have learned much more and whilst no expert in shares I now very rarely trade, if I have any cash I buy them, I am in eme and considering my options.

So, accepting that you are correct, what are you trying to get us to do?

Either, walk away out of fear that the "master plan" will lead to our financial ruin or see you as the hero calling time on "the game" and pile in with every spare cent on which we can lay our hands?

Just out of curiosity, have you made that call to the FCA and presented them with the evidence?

Well I was about to buy back in here after 8 years and then I read a post and it reminded me of matters, I had many years of hell and still can find details if I wish to look.

Naivity perhaps, inexperienced yes and taking notice of a broker who left the company I think a year later and was fined, but I paid my dues and that's an end to it.

I have learned much from my experience and if anyone here thinks the FSA or FCA do nothing then you are much mistaken.

These do look attractive at this price.

No point in posting shorting figures as they mean nothing. Brokers and others have leeway on timescales for selling/holding/stock and overseas companies can virtually act with impunity on disclosing any activities from the toothless FSA/FCA or Financial City Accomplices who have as much interest in policing the City as Kim Jong-un has in world peace or democracy.

So there are at least 2 perspectives here. The first is that vested interests will drive price down to encourage investors to bail. The second is that the lower the price goes the more attractive topping up will be to those of the opinion that the share price is massively understated. To me it seems like a zero sum game. I'm personally of the opinion that the share price is being maintained at an artificially low level pending yet another ludicrous option award - perhaps when the broken pump is fixed. Subsequent to that I'm thinking the company goes for a full listing making it a far more attractive investor prospect and will probably start paying a dividend too. I hate the board as much as I love the company but I'm not going anywhere.

It's not rumours, it's fact and happened with AMER or possibly when we were still CHP.

We got 23% shareholder support (all PIs) to request a meeting with the BoD.

We got fobbed off with meeting their disinterested PR Orange Lizard, who appeared to know less of operations than we did. He later offered us poisoned bait along similar lines you mentioned.

Some of us are still here. Some are not.
Some ignored the trap. Some did not.

Those who, perhaps naively, took the poisoned bait suffered large 5 figure fines from the FSA effectively removing them from the game.
