Maybe we should follow Leicester's example - change the person who led us to 66p (for which he proudly claimed credit, and told us so, at the AGM 2 years back) and has since led us back to the doldrums of a third of that share price

In fairness there's never been any real ramping of this share and in fact the contrary could be said where our board are concerned, however the reality is that we have watched success after success with regards to drilling our targets, we've seen us cut through transportation and storage issues by finally getting our very own pipeline completed and yet we've watched the value of our holdings be decimated over the past couple of years.

There's no doubt that the oil price has played a major part, however we've seen many of our peers recover their sp's whilst ours appears to drop by the week. All very disheartening and one wonders what the mid to long term plan is to try and actually reflect our relative success in our share price........

All are just jaded, we've seen that many false dawns, train leaving the station, great buying opportunity, Malcys bucket list etc, etc.

It does rather look that way. After all, the current Ecuador government regime has been in place throughout the OBA saga, so if it doesn't change why should that alter the company's prospects.

Ecuador needs a business minded president who doesn't give a sh•t about indigenas or the yasunis and their narional park which VHR borders. So when is the next election? If Moreno remains we can whistle for major political, social, economic and financial change.

Bargain time again folks. If you have bought high then buy more at 23p to average your overall share price down. This company is coming into profit and money is to be had when results come out late March early April..

Trotts -- what's really bugging us holders here is the bottom line of our total portfolios, where in my case with 22 holdings take out AMER and I'm up 34.5% since January 2nd on my XL sheet. When I then add back in AMER the bottom line goes from 34.5% up to 26.3% down - ok I'm overweight AMER, but only because like many other old timers here I trusted the management to take the company forward.

Could be a few wrinkles to be ironed out just now but JW is the man to do it imo

Patience is key here in my view - GL
