11/1/2024 21:02 | Just took the Singapore Airlines A380 from LHR to Singapore Superb trip / full and fantastic service Passengers love this plane for the smooth and amazingly quiet ride Iconic plane going to be around for a long time | panshanger1
11/1/2024 19:48 | am willing to collect the divis and await developments ... those 380's do not have a Zero value | mattjos
11/1/2024 19:44 | So 20 pence of dividends ahead then what could it be worth after ? | my retirement fund
11/1/2024 16:39 | Upside surprise is always welcome. My model used 0.0175p through to the first lease expiry. I guess that is some contribution from the Thai aircraft? I contemplated modelling a 2p payout but didn't bother as at 1.75p it already resulted in a decent upside, assuming 0 residual value for either the A380s or 777. | hpcg
11/1/2024 14:37 | BUY PRICE 44.80!!! I TAKE THE NEARLY 20% YIELD FOR THE NEXT 30 MONTHS.....I DOUBT MY HEDGE FUND MANAGER WILL BEAT THAT! | fram7

11/1/2024 14:16 | RNS on dividend just published. The Board is pleased to announce an interim dividend of 2.00p per ordinary share. The shares will be marked ex-dividend on 18 January 2024 and the dividend will be paid on or around 31 January 2024 to shareholders on the register as at the close of business on 19 January 2024. The cash position of the Company and the improved environment for long haul travel as well as the financial performance of the Company's lessees have resulted in the Company's ability to increase the Dividend from 1.75p per share to 2.00p per share. We expect to be able to continue to pay a dividend of at least this amount until July 2026 after which the Company's leases start to expire. The rate of dividend is therefore likely to decline significantly after that date but will depend on the circumstances existing at that time. | brynos
11/1/2024 12:47 | They haven't released an rns declaring the dividend which is unusual as it was always out in the first week of the relevant month last year. | scrwal
11/1/2024 11:42 | 737-9 grounded for a while longer. Who is going to rely on a 777-X to enter service flawlessly when they can pick up A380s? I'm talking A380 operators, especially those that run from busy airports. How is this for a calculation - IAG reckons BA can justify A380s at $50m, which leaves Emirates with a choice of paying $25-30m to return an aircraft ex-lease just to hand over to a competitor. Now there is nothing to suggest IAG is thinking anything like that, but currently it serves New York with mostly 777, and a couple of 787s even. A new A380 operator picking up aircraft at an extremely competitive price could take a chunk out of that business. Or even just add additional seats on a route that used to be dominated by 747s. It just takes one competitive bidder, or even the threat of that, for Emirates to pay substantially more than the recent transactions. | hpcg
11/1/2024 09:45 | Ex-div date is next Thursday, Jan 18th. | cassini

09/1/2024 15:30 | Share price now is 41.7 / 42.0 All the trades at 42p are buys ahead of going ex divedend that amounts to 1.3 million share buys today. No real price rise. Maybe the MM are predicting a flood of sells on Thursday! | clive7878
08/1/2024 17:07 | The last 2 ex- dive dates the share price has fallen more than the dividend. The share price was 47p. But can this continue? Soon we will know. The dividend should be secure until at least July 2026. . | clive7878
08/1/2024 13:34 | Technically it must only fall by the value of the dividend unless other forces are at play. it was risky at 20p when an investor must have had a lot of courage to buy....but it has been rewarded with 100% plus returns. The A380 has raised from "parts only value" to the most reliable and highly desired planes by passengers as it should be! We have confidence most leases will be extended.... The only big risk I see is that some institutional investors will wake up to Amedeo and buy strongly raising the price! Amedeo is thinly traded and volatile so we might see much lower prices in the coming days....nobody can predict this. Still the fundamentals look strong. | fram7
08/1/2024 13:29 | Fram - a few months ago the DNA funds were pricing in c£20m residual value per A380. The DNA2 sales were at £30m. so a useful uplift. Just in terms of the A380 element of AA4 - the junior debt against each of these is c£30-35m. If you take the view that the debt only has security against each respective plane (ie so any shortfall is left to each lender to 'bear') then the net value of AA4s A380s using £30m as a residual value remains broadly nil, as it was at £20m. | cousinit
08/1/2024 13:08 | Sold a few today......to much risk that the share price will fall to far compared to the divi. Will buy back if the fall makes it profitable. Its all about how much it is going to fall Ex-divi......i will go for 3p. | 11_percent
08/1/2024 12:17 | I find quite interesting to compare Doric to Amedeo. Amedeo seems to be a bit undervalued and I do not see any material reason for this? hxxps://www.hl.co.uk | fram7
08/1/2024 10:27 | Small buying today - ahead of going ex- dividend - price slightly rising- still have tomorrow & Wed to get in. What happens Thursday is anyonestill guess - in how far the share price falls | clive7878
08/1/2024 10:22 | 2 - 737 Max 8 came down -1 while I was in China. Another 737 also came down which few off from Kunming in China where I had stayed. Now they got a serious problem was a 737 max 9. Makes one quite nervous. Not good | clive7878
07/1/2024 22:47 | Rocket scientists design them, rednecks build them and chuck their meal-wrappers into them. | podgyted
07/1/2024 22:42 | Think a lot of people will be getting to the stage of avoiding Boeing planes. Its also astounding that the US defense department still buy anything off them. | podgyted
07/1/2024 21:58 | Thoughts on a Boeing distracted by 737 issues getting further behind on 777-9? Speculative, but airlines might be thinking it too? I'd rather have a plane I know works than a mystery jet. | hpcg
04/1/2024 13:48 | Very true what eeza has posted above. and also what bigman posted that the share price was 47.5p prior last time before ex dividend date. That the fall in the share price has been wiping out the dividend and more for the last 2 times, but can this situation continue for a 3rd time around?, - I believe not - that is why I may stay in. Friday, 5th Jan - all blue today - (what has been traded) investors buying ahead of the ex-dividend date. | clive7878
04/1/2024 12:40 | Yes, but the last 2 XD's have seen the share price decline by double the 1.75p div. Prior to 2 XD's ago the bid was ~47.50p. True but stupid! AIMHO GLA BTG | btgman |
