30/9/2009 19:38 | Cougar You just wait until I show you the male uniform. Anyway, before I decide whether to design uniforms for your staff I need to know about the extra 200K. Seems a little odd to me - buy a business for not much over half a million and find 200K in the bank account. According to Anomalous that is. And it was making a fair amount of profit before you came along with your offer. Please explain. | loverat
30/9/2009 05:33 | Well, I was thinking of something quite bold for the Ladies uniforms. And the name of the new company? 'Cougar's Cameras' with a big logo of a Cougar on the shop front. Simple but effective | loverat
30/9/2009 04:18 | Yep I understand - Loverat66@yahoo.co.u | loverat
29/9/2009 20:34 | loverat - thanks for that. i wouldn't mind firing a couple of questions at you, but wouldn't feel comfortable doing so here. any chance of mailing you? | brando69
29/9/2009 19:31 | brando69 There is no public debate anymore which is probably for the best. Occasionally it is mentioned here but quite understandably people on LGB thread are fed up with the subject. Smith has cases ongoing against about eight people (and potentially more) but I rate his chances of recovering his substantial costs as poor. In fact, I rate his chances of success against anyone as negligible. If there is anything specific you wish to know I might know the answer. Just ask. | loverat
29/9/2009 18:54 | loverat - where, if anywhere, is the debate regarding the smith lawsuit to be found on these boards? do you know? | brando69
29/9/2009 18:47 | Anomalous - 2 Aug'04 - 18:34 - 26 of 329 Well done the directors. I know you can't magic another £200k out of nowhere on every deal, but if you keep finding such bargains, this company is going to be in a very comfortable position in a years time. And cougar6 - see if you cannot magic up another couple of 100K. | loverat
29/9/2009 18:28 | O.K - my thoughts are as follows. Jessops PLC looks like it is going down the pan. Cougar6 has Photo Distribution Ltd as a vehicle to reverse into Jessops. Like the Bournemouth Education Centre, which was purchased for 70K (a fair price as assessed by independent directors) the accounts seem up to date. Now - my proposal is this. Cougar6 - you reverse yourself into Jessops and provide the staff. I specialise in designing staff uniforms so I am sure you can find a place on the board for me. I design the uniforms for another company which is also directed by first class businesman. | loverat
29/9/2009 11:55 | Cougar6 - just found an interesting shell for you to reverse into. JoJo_Jo - 29 Sep'09 - 11:43 - 2594 of 2594 Jessops PLC will likely continue to be listed and shares trade, as a 'shell' company with no tangibles. All tangibles will go to NEWCO. Not sure if Jessops name will go too, in which case the listed shell will have to change name. Depending on the cost of a LSE listing, it has some value - it may cost £2m to bring a company to market, making this a good buy for someone about to list. There will also likely be considerable carried forward tax losses, available to anyone reversing into the shell. I can only assume tody's buyer is the company looking to list, or those who know the value of the tax losses and lising costs. I'm not sure but the share price implies it could be worth £2m+ to a company looking to float. | loverat
27/9/2009 13:25 | Watch this folks. One of my favourite investigations. | loverat

22/9/2009 07:33 | Something for everyone no matter where in the world they may be. | loverat
22/9/2009 06:39 | Well, my reading of the situation would be that after the takeover cougar's stake would have turned into a non notifiable holding so that probably explains that. Mind you, in light of his posts on the matter still question marks over when he did actually sell. | loverat
22/9/2009 06:28 | Well, can't find the holdings statement from when Cougar6 actually sold his stake in Galleon Holdings. The financial reports of the new company going back five years suggests that he was not a major shareholder during this period so where is the holding statment confirming he no longer has a notifiable interest? Any ideas? | loverat
22/9/2009 06:17 | I bet the Driscoll brothers were not best pleased........ | loverat
22/9/2009 05:24 | And then he pops up 2 years later saying he had a holding from 'Andaman days' and announced another sell - which incidentally others were sceptical of. Looks to me that Cougar6 at some point at least was posting porky pies in order to suit whatever agenda he had. cougar6 - 8 Aug'07 - 22:26 - 3890 of 15119 I had shares in Andaman which is now galleon, the shares were restructured can you tell me what 1 million pld anderman is now cheers cougar6 - 13 Aug'07 - 13:39 - 4081 of 15119 My sells are showing as buys ??? cougar6 - 13 Aug'07 - 14:07 - 4087 of 15119 first was a 30k sale banjomick - 13 Aug'07 - 14:11 - 4091 of 15119 cougar6, The 30k was delayed so appeared to be a buy, don't worry yourself too much over it-lol davidrigby - 13 Aug'07 - 14:19 - 4093 of 15119 we seem to have picked up a big liar saying he sold 30000 put your money were your mouth is and I'll prove you wrong as it was a buy the time was 12.49. 21/9/2009 20:36 | Must say, I have to agree with Agincourt there. I don't like Esther Rantzen either. However there are alot of TV personalities and people I know who have calmed down and grown old gracefully and beautifully. Take Anne Robinson for example. Take a look at those pictures from the 80's and now look at her. | loverat |
