The last time that I checked, the average BB price was 186.4p.

The FT article in post 2776 should be ringing bells.

I made a schekel or two buying at low points and selling a week later back in mid Dec 2023 and mid Jan 2024 with ABDN. There may be an opportunity to repeat this again.

But where's the bottom?

Skinny - thanks for those low points as they provide some assistance. to my decisions.

Down to 150p support by the looks of things. I guess if you're in the Market for more then it's a result - I'm not.

Always the CEO Chairman and Board of Directors - that id why even when the Co . Is going down ie into administration , they try to prolong the Company life so these Directirs get another few months of salaries - lotal shareholders always lose

I bought at 1.70 about six months ago.(I think - I'd need to check.) tbh I'm not too vexed atm. For me it's a dividend play representing 2.9% of my portfolio but 4% of the income. I've always viewed the dividend as safe enough while their balance sheet is strong and the dividend is covered. There are definitely clear issues with the investment arm mainly related to the long term trend away from active funds to passive. But the platform businesses look sound enough. I feel my capital is secure in the long term it's just a question of waiting and taking the dividends. Obviously others might look at it as an opportunity cost taking that pov. Fair enough. But I feel it's a wait either for an improvement or as Oliver Shah said over the weekend a break up.

The analyst presentation obviously didn't go too well though I listened to it and thought it was fine. I'm something of a Pollyanna if truth be known! There was a weird moment when Bird was singing the praises of Phoenix and how the mandate added stability to the business! The irony!!

I am 99% sure - this is a big white ekrphsmt to tutn around . ABDn plays with the words inflow rather than outflow and tries to confuse investors .
Im 2023 still makimg a loss although much smaller loss than in 2022 . I sold this morning at £1.732 after see inflow reduced snd that is the key to this PLC Company .

The only reason ABDN didn’t drop off the cliff is that the final dividend maintained at 7.3p . Definitely go under £1.60 later

Result not great - inflow reduced in other words outflow increased from previous year.
Sure to go back under £1.60
