Cambium, you say you are a buyer at £2.65, in that case you won't be buying as IMHO they are more likely to hit £3.65 by year end.

A few hundred grand invested today which shows someone is confident. If results are anything less than the usual great I feel we could see a further drop and people investors call it a day after such a long period of growth.

I agree we could see a steady climb again now until March 21st results.

If they are up to the usual expectations then I guess we can see a steady climb back to 325 and possibly beyond.

Anyone else share this view?

Taken a bit of a hammering of late. Ripe for steady climb as we approach results which will continue to steamroll.

i gather that there is some sort of negative news aurrounding the industry? not sure what but to do with lower spend in the areas Mears works in. This will probably continue to drift until this goes away? ive bailed and will get back in when the green light flashes again!

Low volume and a few people banking some profit ahead of next months results might explain the dip.

LONDON (ShareCast) - Council house maintenance specialist Mears' results this year will be at the top end of expectations, while its order book is now worth more than £1bn.

In a statement, the company said it has recently picked up four new contracts with Leeds City Homes, Kensington Housing Trust, London Borough of Greenwich and the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

A substantial amount of the turnover for the next 2 to 3 years has already been contracted, Mears added. The directors remain confident in the future prospects for the group, the statement concluded.
