30/1/2008 14:34 | as i said a while ago, i think that it is HYR | tubby028
30/1/2008 14:32 | This is worth a lot more money then people think IMHO | lbo
30/1/2008 14:31 | Well, well, well there is the news of a significant order and a possible takeover. Any opinions on valuation in such a situation, obviously depends on how big that order is, any views? | lplp
30/1/2008 09:47 | Anybody know the reason for the high volume of activity yesterday, and why the sudden drop off? | geddo
29/1/2008 16:16 | We need some news of significant orders to really get the share price going. Maybe someone knows something positive other than Hydrodec. | lplp
29/1/2008 12:17 | hope so haven't had a stir for awhile | distill
29/1/2008 12:14 | Significant rise today on exceptionally large volume - over 8m shares so far. Rise of 1.25p together with the volume seems to be more than can be attributed to the Hydrodec holding. Is VTI about to stir? | alan russell
25/1/2008 09:48 | Molectra is an Australian company which converts rubber tyres into environmentally friendly by-products. The company has run a successful pilot plant and GHF have been the main funder in developing a commercial plant. Little news has been given but I think we are not far off getting an update. Molectra is the main investment for GHF along with Bauxsol. I think VTI own 30m shares in GHF so there could be a similar effect on VTI as HYR at some time. | vitamal
25/1/2008 09:41 | what is molectra please i have not heard of this befor | angussux
24/1/2008 22:05 | I think bauxsol was sold off to GHF and I have heard nothing about it since. More worringly is Virotec aquasolve no longer seems om have a web site and we have heard nothing in recent months of any contracts for viromine etc but we will have to wait and see. It would also be good to hear some news of Molectra. In fact Penndot have been trialling Viromine against Excocite and it would seem that the Viromine has not performed that well - see Penndot minutes 20 Dec. Virotec should become an investment holding company and cut its costs in my opinion. | vitamal
24/1/2008 12:22 | Basically for every 10p that HYR goes up it adds 2.5p to the value of VTI. | erkman
24/1/2008 11:08 | so bauxsol worth didly squat | angussux
24/1/2008 09:26 | You can work out how much their stake in HYR is worth yourself. Multiply 55m shares by 33.5p a share (today) and you get £18.425m. There, that wasn't difficult, was it? :-) | pbracken
23/1/2008 16:26 | I have received no replies in recent months to a couple of emails. Last year they gave a trading up date on 16 Jan. If no update this year then we will have to wait until around end of March when they can tell us how much the stake in Hydrodec is worth! | vitamal
23/1/2008 09:57 | I received a very belated reply from Bamonte in November. The reply gave rise to another query whidh he has not answered. | ericeb206
23/1/2008 09:46 | does vti ever reply to shareholders or do updates . | angussux
22/1/2008 20:19 | has anyone emailed the company or rang them and gotten a reply . | angussux
21/1/2008 10:25 | has anyone actualy gotten a reply from the company of late | angussux
18/1/2008 13:11 | Don't understand your logic, vitamal. Good news (or any kind of news) comes when its due. Just because no news has been released today doesn't mean it can't be released next week, or the week after, or the week after that. Anyhow, the stock is up because no market can ignore forever the inflation in value of a stock's prized asset. And notwithstanding the rise, VTI is still lagging by a large margin the value of its holding in HYR alone. | pbracken
18/1/2008 12:59 | If someone was interested in buying Hydrodec would it be a good idea to buy 28% by buying Virotec. Thats my theory why at these levels Virotec is cheap but could rise rapidly if they could give us any good news on their own trading. Unfortunately this seems unlikely as I am sure they would have given out good news if there had been any. Still I picked up a few more today on the off chance. | vitamal
18/1/2008 11:14 | looks like break out | angussux
18/1/2008 08:42 | The assets alone are worth around £21m. The value of the business is anyone's guess, and obviously depends on the potential and success of its technology. As I say, the market is attributing no or even negative value to the business at the moment. | pbracken |
