12/9/2007 07:24 | Timben and Alan-there's your first big contract and no competition except a spade in the labourious spade in the ground. | erkman
11/9/2007 19:15 | Any Idea what the two big broker trades mean?? | timben
11/9/2007 11:21 | The results statement strikes me as being somewhat lacking in "puff" compared with past statements and other blue-sky companies results. OK the company bangs the drum a bit but no doubt there is a lot more they could have said if they wanted to convey a positive impression. This could mean :- 1. Absolutely nothing - most things do not have a hidden meaning. 2. It is a bit downbeat because there is nothing to be up beat about. 3. The company sees no need to be upbeat as they anticipate announcing contract news in the near future. 4. Something else. I feel that the next six months are going to be critical. | alan russell
11/9/2007 11:05 | Contract wins is what we need Angus then their wages and shares may be justified. Bruno said in his email to me that they should announce some this month!! | timben
11/9/2007 09:43 | Good point Steve what is the value?? Contracts need to be won and soon, not only for cash but for confidence. | timben
11/9/2007 07:42 | Looking at this morning's interims, leaving aside the bullish statements as we have heard them so often they are meaningless, it looks like cash will be an issue very soon. On the down side, the burn is $3m over 6 months to June 07, the cash in bank is $4m as at June 07, so unless some big income events happen soon, the money runs out about February next year. On the up side the quoted and realisable investments in Hydrodec and Greenhouse are worth at today's market prices £13.5m and Virotec has very small borrowings so could easily afford to gear up, and there is enough confidence in the company for them to raise £5m at 12p. Virotec is valued by the market at £18m, so the question is, is the Virotec business really only worth £4.5m? | steve3005
10/9/2007 09:35 | Wonder if we will now visit 6.5 on the bid to match the cross trade? Wonder if the seller has finished now? | timben

04/9/2007 09:53 | I have received email responses from Bruno and Angus Craig along very similar lines to those posted earlier. Last paragraph sounds fairly bullish but I think in the near term the Hydrodec share price will be all important and that is recovering slightly. "We have never been more confident of the benefits of our products and that we are the only viable solution available to a number of key environmental problems. We have completed the research and development of our Technology and now we believe the issue is not if we will gain market acceptance but when". | vitamal
04/9/2007 06:40 | Hi Angus had another reply from Mr Bamonte: "Apologies for the delay in responding. We plan to have our interim results released shortly (in the next week) and this will contain a brief summary of our progress (in line with my previous response to you). I am unable to go into too much detail on any further projects until such time as information is made public. As advised in my previous response to you, we are working on a number of projects. Unfortunately some have been delayed by regulatory issues and will take a little time to resolve. On the positive side we are making good progress on a number of other projects that we hope to be in a position to announce some of these by the end of September. We are all disappointed with the share price and we understand the only way to restore Investor confidence is the announcements of new contracts. We are working as diligently as we can to achieve this and as soon as we have any substantive contracts signed we will let the market know. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions." Could this give us little lift?? Good luck all!! | timben
04/9/2007 05:20 | still no reply vti shi ts me also | angussux
03/9/2007 10:41 | Can you elaborate on that bornloser? | timben
02/9/2007 09:19 | I really still don't understand why we have drifted these levels. The technology is proven and,(although small) contracts are being won. Is there something that we are missing or is the end nigh? | timben
01/9/2007 16:52 | If that statement is correct maybe they should use the cash to buy some VTI shares at these prices. | tr1
01/9/2007 15:28 | Erkman and edale this is what Bruno put in his email "In regards to our cash position, we are continually working on signing contracts to address this issue over the long term. Please note however that in addition to our cash, we also hold shares in public listed Companies that are currently valued at in excess of 16 Million pounds. These positions could, in our opinion, underpin any further cash requirement although we have no intention nor need at this stage of realising these assets. We believe we have made significant progress over the past few months and we expect to be able to provide further news in the short term on our continued progress. With this continued progress we hope to win back the confidence and support of the shareholders". Perhaps he was not telling the full story? | timben |
