31/8/2007 17:58 | 30m shares sold in Greenhouse today. Virotec held 30m shares in GHF the next biggest shareholder with 18m. Looks like Virotec could have dumped their entire holding in GHF to raise cash ? | ![]() edale
31/8/2007 14:06 | When you contact Bruno ask him about what was said at the time of the placement ar the end of March. "The Directors are in very advanced discussions in relation to conducting a placing of ordinary shares to raise approximately AUD$5 million following finalisation of this financial report. The proceeds from such a placing will be used to fund Virotec's continuing expansion in the USA and other ongoing operations. It is currently the directors' expectation that if such a placing occurs, no further issues of shares will be required prior to the Group being cash flow positive on an operational basis." This company can now be bought very cheaply by a predator who could sell the Aussie assets back to an Aussie company and market the rest in the USA. This company simply does not have the right people to sell its products. You might also ask Bruno about the short term news he mentioned in his e-mail to one of you about 6 weeks ago! | ![]() erkman
31/8/2007 13:42 | Nearly 10m GHF share gone at 10p nearly £1m. That might keep the wolves at bay for a few months but not good to sell the silverware. | ![]() vitamal
31/8/2007 13:34 | The company must need cash at some point but that has to go hand in hand with some decent deals and that does't appear to be happening. I see some hefty GHF sales going through so maybe there is a clue. | ![]() vitamal
31/8/2007 12:56 | so what is the answer then Chaps?? Have emailed Bruno again last week but have not had a reply?? | ![]() timben
30/8/2007 15:38 | the 50k at 7.55 is a T25 buy! | ![]() vitamal
30/8/2007 15:22 | The technology works! but getting people to buy into it is going to be difficult. | tr1
30/8/2007 15:05 | Thanks Vitamal lets hope we pic up from here | ![]() timben
30/8/2007 14:52 | Timben As far as we know VTI own 60,000,000 shares in Hydrodec ie worth £11.25m. VTI also have a large holding of GHF worth maybe £5m therefore investments worth about £16m. Current value of Virotec £17m. Because of the lack of news of new contracts there has been a drift down in the share price where the value of Virotecs own business is valued at almost zero. That business only has a value if it can make sales and so the question is whether there is any prospect of the company making a profit on its own trade otherwise they may as well pack up and wait for the royalties from its licenced products. If they became an investment holding company with few costs attached the price has little further to fall. Alternatively if they sell off their investments to keep going then they will run the whole thing down to nowt unless they really can strike some deals. | ![]() vitamal
30/8/2007 14:27 | I am in for quite a few, maybe time to take the big loss? Did hyrdro sell virotec? | ![]() timben
30/8/2007 14:19 | The company is now almost valued on a breakup basis which must mean the technology is no good hence the dearth of contracts. The company really does need to make a statement. | ![]() vitamal
30/8/2007 14:01 | Agreed Vitamal, think we all expected this though afte the sell at 7p yesterday. Company btter announce something and fast!! | ![]() timben
30/8/2007 13:53 | There again maybe not! | ![]() vitamal
30/8/2007 11:18 | Dealing in this share has become almost non existent and any trades there are seem to be mostly sales. The price has fallen in line with the weakness in Hydrodec but then the weakness in Hydrodec may be due to a possible sale of part of Virotec holding. Cash will be needed soon unless trading is better than the market seems to expect. The silence is deafening. There is little premium over and above the company's investment assets so if anything goes at all right there could be good gains from this level. My views only | ![]() vitamal
29/8/2007 18:32 | Trade at 7p are we on the way down again? | ![]() timben
