29/2/2008 10:08 | any guess on a price if vti was sold off | angussux
28/2/2008 10:50 | Seems like we are back to a discount on current assets of 20-25%. excluding any value attached to the Australian business. | vitamal
25/2/2008 20:35 | VTI GHF HYR ARE ALL TIED TOGETHER RE VTI MANAGEMENT BOYS CLUB AT WORK . VERY GOOD TECHNOLOGIES THOUGH | angussux
25/2/2008 16:52 | Another 1M bought at 3.40pm. | erkman
25/2/2008 11:53 | Steve 3005 VTI announced at the start of the year that they HAVE been awarded the land remediation contract in Australia. I agree that I would rather have my shares gain their potential value than have them shot down so soon. | justin586
25/2/2008 09:11 | VTI owns 19% of GHF so it does have an indirect interest in Molectra. I am hoping the sell out comes to nothing, as like many investors I want to see this company work out as an investment not to see it being sold off just as all the ground work seems to be at a point of paying off. BTW - has there been any public announcement of the aussi contract? Re Greenhouse, there is a thread and I have posted there. This is a very interesting if a bit too uncommunicative fund. | steve3005
25/2/2008 08:39 | Angus Molectra is owned bty GHF. VTI has nothing to do with it. | ericeb206
25/2/2008 07:55 | molectra will be worth quite a bit. makes one wonder why the sudden sale of vti . could it be for the hydrodech molectra process, then of course bauxsol is just starting to get some recognition . volumes are picking up chart wise this coud be about to go further | angussux
22/2/2008 22:18 | someone is certainly acumulating | angussux
22/2/2008 17:28 | Something is going to happen next week. There was massive volume late on today including 1m bought after hours. | erkman
18/2/2008 10:19 | shredd the tyres take out the metal turn the rubber into rubber or oil . nothing left of the original tyre . you start with a tyre and end up with no waste | angussux
15/2/2008 16:06 | What is the molectra process like Angus? | timben
15/2/2008 15:29 | at 9p VTI is valued at the same as its holding in HYR so GHF (Molectra) is in for free plus any value in VTIs own business. Seems odd to me with some possible offer in the background. NUMIS really trying to drag the price down????? | vitamal
14/2/2008 18:21 | after seeing the molectra process in action imo that should make vti 1 pound alone then there is also there holdings in hyr | angussux
08/2/2008 17:24 | Be wary of wray (excuse the anagram) Healthcare Enterprises comes to mind. However I agree with your other comments Justin586 | vitamal
08/2/2008 13:44 | There are several aspects of the company that are likely to become very profitable in the medium term. They have a patented product under licence with a number of environmental agencies. They also have just been awarded a contract for their Australian land remediation business which once the ink has dried on the contract will significantly increase the value of the company. This would definitely make it an attractive buy. The question however, is for much and when? I value the share at 19p. I noticed that Nigel Wray, a leading UK investor invested more than £5 million in Virotec indicating that there is something special here. | justin586
05/2/2008 13:55 | I saw news on advfn that virotec was approached with a potential offer for the company, is anyone here familiar with the situation and potentially from the looks of the share price the general public agrees From the looks of the balance sheet it seems an interesting long term holding | justin586
31/1/2008 21:04 | i did mention the possiblility of geographical segments being sold off. interesting aviva buying more though . | angussux
31/1/2008 17:22 | One buyer today of 21k shares and 8 sells totalling 639k. | mikey34
31/1/2008 11:37 | The price is nearly back to pre yesterdays announcement, current value is equivalent to its investments so no "hope" value at all. I wonder who the bidder might be. Hydrodec? GHF? Ludgate Investments? Judging by the muted response my guess it is something almost internal. Shame if that is the case as VTI shrehoders (ie the rest of us) will not get a fair price. | vitamal
31/1/2008 11:25 | If this is the case ,and with the takeover interest the share price could rise significantly ! | stoaty1
31/1/2008 10:30 | port of melbourne in the state of victoria in australia is being deepened at a cost of $1billion . i am wondering if this is the big land remediation contract vti are hinting at in there anouncement . | angussux
30/1/2008 16:38 | How frustrating. Mostly when the share price of blue-sky companies I have fancied fall badly I bail out. Sometimes I hold if there seems a reasonable chance of things working out - and maybe buy some more on the way back up. So to hold VTI through the long, long slide just to be taken over as it starts to look up would be an annoyance. The recent HYR sale said to have raised sufficient funds to complete commercialisation, HYR improving, share price improving, now news of a material contract... patience looks as if it will not bring a reward. I hope no takeover comes to pass. | alan russell
30/1/2008 16:22 | Is it me seeing spooks where there arn't any, or, is it more likely that someone, or someones, other than we mere mortal investers, new about this latest delelopement yesterday?! because, if they did, they've made a nice few quid over, and above the rest of us, 8m+ trades, and who's to say what were buys, and what were sales???.....you wouldn't know, not with these dodgey mm bar stewards. I hope somebody can tell me that I am barking up the wrong tree! because if not I'm blazing!! | geddo |
