Share price hasn't done well since Rick became CEO but hasn't crashed to 0 :(. At least he is able to stabilize it.

Shorts have decreased (stock lending for shorts has gone to Dec 2014 level)
Bank has been sold and cash balance increased.
Leadership team looks much better than what we have during Truell time (No ex-soldiers but guys with some experience)
Cash burn has come down from over £2.2m to under £1m per month
Contracts with buyers were sorted (standardized)and got 40-60% increase on buyer's revenue.
He talked about FX service in Feb 2016 (on capital market day) and it went live in 4 -5 months. I know it's not making money :( but better record for delivery than previous management.
Revenue increased since he became CEO - £22m => £26m => £31m (expected 2016-2017)

I'm not sure this will make money but at-least Management is trying and is way better than other AIM companies.

IMO

I can see the management here doing their best to waste all that cash raised from the sale of Tungsten Bank asap with little to show, Horowitz sounds like a fruit cake, but trust him I will until I see evidence of future profits, but I'm surprised there are any investors left in the AIM market the appalling way half the cos. are run into the ground by inept directors!

This is old, but for those who haven't come across it, it gives a good idea of how prices move in a small market(OTCBB in the US is a little like AIM here):

It's about now they will release some kind of sector "newsflash" telling us just how much SMEs are crying out for finance just to rub it in !

Hi-tech financial firms flee UK amid doubts over Brexit

TUNG have an office in Bulgaria, I wonder if they'll need another somewhere in the EU in the next couple of years to do business (SCF etc.) on the Continent (I'd guess not) and what that might cost.

A good bit of shafting has gone on here, you might say*.

pkarnezis: I'd agree with your stance on the employee reviews. Not a bore at all, as your latest clearly demonstrates!

*if you are alleged MD's wife and reading this then know I am referring to the share price.

i guess the question remains though what the revenue split will be etc. I would rather they have got a tie up with a big bank like rbs who would be more reliant on tung's analytics and credit control to make an assessment and therefore tung would have got a bigger take of the fee....

Edward re: post 6790 of 6794

I read it the same way as you, where Insight doesn't have the risk appetite, Orbian steps in. Can only be a good thing.

Not my experience.
After the removal of a wisdom tooth, I spent the next 2 months having small lumps of jawbone popping out of my gums.

Not a happy experience.

Talking about my TUNG holding...

my take on the orbian deal is they will provide access to the more 'risky' deals that Insight would not fund? hence this should increase the addressable universe of financing... am I broadly right???

Are we expecting an announcement to be made when we hit EBITDA breakeven or is it now the end of May before any more news from the 'Mary Celeste' of the stock market ??

Tungsten Network partners with Orbian to expand the scope of its financing offering:

“While our recently relaunched Early Payment product has been designed to meet the needs of SMEs, this new funding solution means that we can now accommodate the financing needs within the supply chains of our Buyer customers."

And an older interview with Thomas Dunn, chairman of Orbian:

hxxps://www.privateequityinternational.com/news/europe/2017-02-13/cvc-takes-stake-in-pic/

"According to media reports, as part of the transaction Edi Truell’s Disruptive Capital Finance will invest a further £25 million, upping its stake to 2.5 percent. It is unclear whether DCF will be using its freshly-raised £80 million third-party “top-up” fund to fund the investment. Truell stepped down from PIC’s board in 2012."

DCF was able to raise £80m in last couple of months.

The quickest fix is to get staff share options back in the money, and some.
