Nice that it was done after the AGM rather than before to avoid searching questions. The BOD aren't covering themselves in glory off the back of it (if they care)

No point in railing against the consolidation now,it`s too late and furthermore the smaller investors never had a chance to veto it once the Bod decided for whatever reason that that was the path to take.
All we can do now is wait and hopefully the share price will eventually rise on news.
After all,we`re pretty good at waiting!

I voted against it because this always happens....did anyone listen nah. Watch this drop to cash in hand and value the rest at zilch but hot air. Not happy and thinking of selling before it drops further.

I can't understand the purpose behind this consolidation.

Call me a cynic, but my guess is the share price will be driven down to maybe 50-60p when the instis will get aboard and then start rising on the announcement of one or two orders.
Twas always thus, the small share holders get shafted all the time!

Gnm, was it the mood music/chatting at the agm that leaves you optimistic, or something else?

gnnmartin,
"I'm sorry that those who predicted the consolidation would depress the share price look to be right in the short term at least."

Sometimes a wider spread can actually support a shareprice - puts people off selling!

I'm sorry that those who predicted the consolidation would depress the share price look to be right in the short term at least. It is disappointing, but irrelevant to me, since I have far too many to think of buying more or trying to sell. I too am rather optimistic now. My optimism is only tempered by the fact I have been optimistic on and off for years. :-o

The patent expiry is a bit of a red-herring as the original deal was between the Lonsdale Brothers and TRT and allowed access on a restricted basis to an existing patent[s] used by their other company Torque Sensors. The patents we now use have been developed on from those days and run into the 2020's I believe. However I am not an expert on how the TRT patents overlap each other.

AFAIR the encapsulation was a joint patent with Schott and that is certainly going to run into the late 2020's at least.

I think that anyone selling now is a nutcase as the industry is opening up to iTrack and that will be great as our fundamental fixed costs will become a very much smaller part of the profit and loss. I am actually quite bullish about 2017 both for ITrack and for the TQS side.
