The only positive I could take from yesterday was the cash position. Appears pretty stable and shows the decision to sell Intellisaw was a good one as that branch was a drain on our resources at £100K a month.
If as drw1 suggests, the prospects out there(and it`s probably Translogik in the short term)come in then we should be set fair for the discernible future.

The size of the Itrack 'opportunity' based on existing trials is actually quite large.
Reversal of investor sentiment will be rapid should the 'opportunity' start to convert.(IMO)

I went along last night with low expectations, I am now a bit more optimistic and I'm prepared to give the directors the benefit of the doubt for now, I will write up a few notes later today,

Pfffft...updates from the company always the same....regard my holding as "lost" anyway - it was highly speculative when I purchased way way way back...barely even follow their news reports. Happy to be wrong but I doubt it.

Anyway lets suppose that itrack does start taking some orders then that would be transformational. After so many let downs the market wont believe it until it sees it.

Trouble is management words dont carry much weight as they have been far too optimistic time after time. Anyway the crunch will come in the next 6 months. If wr dont see trials turning into orders then its the end of the road. They will need to slash costs to preserve cash until Auto and other projects come through. They might be able to offload itrack.

Mattjos - what you say is one alternative view. I think iTrack is worth some decent money and if we sign up some meha mines it becomes even more valuable and viable. The basic patents are old but the the development gave us new ones and also with Schott a way of encapsulating them for use in a machine environment. Of course science evolves etc but theoretical to working inside a machine is normally a lengthy period.

I am slightly optimistic as I also note we are going to be more active in America. Lot of mines there.

ANyway lets hear what occurred at the investor meeting. I would have gone if I had been near London but I am actually in France and the inducement to come back insufficient : )

Love your optimism diesel. Keep posting ! I've been in too long now to risk selling. would never forgive myself if it did all come good and I would have made my money back. Realistically I think chances slim but just got to stick with it now . Worst financial mistake of all this for me - although I know I am not alone.

I am not sure that investors always appreciate the time scale for new products to get accepted. Bear in mind Michelin had a system that if it did not pre-date iTrack was contemporary. You would think a company that size would have scooped the market .. not so.

Once a mine goes over to this system it is going to be an annual spend of say around £0.5M and its not like you can just stop and start it in an instant as fitting to the trucks is a major effort. Therefore you would be an absolute idiot to commit to it without testing.

TRT needed to come up with something today and didn't - except a peanut from GE. You always know when a company fires out a little 'sweetener' like that on results day that the results themselves will be a bitter pill to swallow. I'm afraid I agree with general sentiment here. Looks like the game is up. Sure, they can stagger on for a while longer... before they do actually fall over.

At this rate soon be back to 1p
Probably like a lot of people given it up at a lost cause the value of my holding to too small to get annoyed about. It also serves to remind me NEVER to buy jam tomorrow shares whilst they sit on my spreadsheet

We often hear that UK companies do not get longterm backing like US companies. Transense shows that to be nonsense. Its been all too easy to get funded. After nearly 20 years my shares are worth a fraction of what they were due to continual fund raising. We will know in 6 months if all this money is ever likely to show a reward or if its been wasted.

Jeez, what was all that rubbish about consolidation to pay a dividend.
If I remember correctly when GS took over he was earning more than the boss of John Lewis!

1,000 @80p. No takers.

Edit: 'they' decided to pay me 81p. I'm going to book me a nice weekend somewhere, have a nice diner and some drinks and forget about this disaster.
