28/5/2015 14:40 | I am lost for words with TATE these days, gave my view previously and it just appears more of the same IMV. Outside possibility of a bid if you are the optimistic sort. | essentialinvestor
28/5/2015 09:54 | Final Results - > Proposed final dividend of 19.8p, making a total dividend of 28.0p (2014 – 27.6p), up 1.4% on prior year > The Board intends to maintain the total dividend payment at 28.0p for the year ending 31 March 2016 | speedsgh
05/5/2015 14:14 | Mmmm, I m guessing despondency has set in here. Juicy div in June. | racg
05/5/2015 12:27 | Any opinions for current direction ? | racg
29/4/2015 15:57 | Plenty of them around scobak , though most BBs seem mercifully free from them , inc this one. I missed my chance for a quick 4% when I delayed selling on Monday , but suspect the opportunity will return soon. | wad collector
28/4/2015 12:54 | who's a bit of a punt? | scobak
23/4/2015 13:10 | Bit of a punt , but decided to add at 598 . | wad collector
22/4/2015 14:33 | How does the man running this shambles keep hold of his job. The RR man gets pushed aside and he's done a half decent job. Anyway I sold out of this a year ago -can't believe this restructuring has produced so little . What else can go wrong -plenty it seems with Calamity James in charge....... | meijiman
21/4/2015 08:52 | It is happening at Tate this morning ; the market doesn't appear to know how to react - down 20 p then up 7p all in the first hour. | wad collector
16/4/2015 12:54 | Tempted to unload my trading stock for a quick 15% ; it is about time we had some more bad news! | wad collector
07/4/2015 23:48 | Good question , it is merely the observation that there was a similar pattern after the last profit warning. Over-reaction then gradual amnesia? | wad collector
07/4/2015 12:10 | You have called that spot on. As I pointed out lat month the chart shows a remarkable similarity to the Dec dip , not that I am a chartist. Will it follow the pattern back up to 680? | wad collector
07/4/2015 07:58 | Will probably see 650 here today | shammytime
02/4/2015 12:14 | Indeed - any day there's an announcement from TATE and it's not a profit warning is a good day! | grahamite2
02/4/2015 09:52 | Doesn't exactly trip off the tongue. They could have put a reasonable number of vowels in the name! Actually they lost something in translation in the RNS ; the TM at the end of the Prima is meant to be Trade Mark! It is another indigestible sugar - not sure what the advantage over other ones like lactulose will be. The main part of the update was "in line" which I suppose is good , but not the debt increase bit. The market seems to like it though - currently up 20p. | wad collector
02/4/2015 08:28 | I wonder what was being said in the conference call? Is DOLCIA PRIMATM Allulose going to be a game changer? | grahamite2
25/3/2015 12:13 | ....the pattern did not hold. £6 seems to be the new resistance. | wad collector
27/2/2015 09:58 | There is a remarkable similarity between the December share price dip and recovery and the February dip and recovery. I am no chartist but a continuation with a few hiccups to 650 or so would be the same pattern . (Ignoring the vulgar complication of actual logic or news) | wad collector
19/2/2015 21:15 | 781p - there is a bit of wishful thinking I suspect. A couple of junior analysts down the winebar I suspect. | wad collector
19/2/2015 09:00 | Canaccord Genuity states a potential bid from Bunge is now “substantially greater” given Tate & Lyle’s “lowered valuation, a strong U.S. dollar, low interest rates, a good strategic fit and shareholder dissatisfaction with Tate.” Canaccord Genuity moved its recommendation on Tate & Lyle from sell to buy and raised its target price to 650p from 530p. The analysts also modelled an acquisition of Tate & Lyle by Bunge at 781p a share, a 40% premium to the current share price. Source: bakingbusiness.com! | dendria
17/2/2015 12:05 | Looking at the share price movement today I think it is fair to say that no-one is taking that rumour seriously. You can but hope though.... | wad collector
16/2/2015 19:36 | Here`s the link.. Bunge again ;-) 'Tate & Lyle sweetened by takeover hopes' Shares in the Splenda maker rallied off a three and a half year low on talk of a possible bid from Bunge | philanderer
16/2/2015 17:29 | There is a suggestion that a US company is looking over TATE, with a view to a bid. | deanforester |
