Wad, you should have sold at around 550p like I should have done when it was up 6% or so. Sickening linear slide down in price after that. Now we are at the mercy of general market sentiment around the globe.

NP, I often have to catch myself before making that mistake too ;-) Though a large fall in the share on a Thursday for no obvious reason is always worth checking on the XD situation.

Oops :-( thanks for pointing out ; I forgot to check ; normally have a quick look at the xd dates before I deal!
I knew there was a reason for caution. Still , at least this means no bad news that I had missed that will take it further down. For now.

You do realise that the "weakness" you refer to is simply the share going ex a near 20p dividend, don't you?

Caution to the wind ; picked up some more at 507 this morning. This morning's opening weakness could be a slide to new lows , but my gamble is that there is no new "News".
The way the market has performed in the last month , it would appear that there has been some Earth shattering economic news. Not sure Greece counts.

The yield looks unsustainable , depends how much you believe the rheteoric I suppose. I was toying with adding before the dividend , but then decided it was just a punt and have sat on hands. Not sure about this one.
