Loz ... and his IQ154

IQ is more about the ability to problem solve ...or indeed try and work out why something works.

I established that ........with Gazza, rather than just accepting that, what i am posting is correct, they go through this song and dance routine, then get personal because they are unable to explain correctly "faster"

Leaving Gazza posting ....

"I don't care why I get the answers quicker, I'm just happy that I do." (in regards to Broadband etc.) So by saying that, he is actually dismissing his own posts, trying to save face, by downplaying the importance, and all because of the problem he created, because of that its impossible to show humility !!

The speed of the net in itself is not important, but the way he conducted the debate was ..

does not mater how the "team plays" .. if your argument is flawed.

Whats interesting is .... Gazza, Loz, and Nana are discussing off topic

Yet BOOM does not say anything to Gazza or loz... only Nana ..."team player"

as Gazza IQ posts contradicted themselves,

and Loz's input was as usual ZERO we can conclude that Loz is indeed just sub normal at best

And gazza's post after, on Scancell are just bizarre

Good evening guys, usernames are certainly being taken fast, chelsea35 available and re joined a few hours ago. drdobson, wanderer and gazza you made me laugh tonight, although couldn"t be totally sure who Mr Dobson was talking about at first. Thanks wanderer, sadly it is true.
I would thank you since my last short visit for the more generous words afforded to me just want Lozan and Tosh to know the last 75% of my buys have not been bought with anybodies influence other than my own, not quite what you have been saying.Hope you take that on board. Been an astonishing week, feeling comfortable with my holding far more than in recent months. Good to see a few wrong about what might turn our fortunes, just an FT tip saying all that has been said anyway. I can think of a few items of news that could produce even bigger gains, yet to come, but nice to see us moving fast as in days of old for when the items come.
Many hurdles yet to overcome, as Gazza says, but still the M/Cap moved to over £50m at one point. My patience with LSE is done, have a good weekend here, and catch you soon. ATB

The only thing I would question is:Is it possible to have a personality disorder without a personality?
gazza
25/8/2017
22:24
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder in which there is a long-term pattern of abnormal behavior characterized by exaggerated feelings of self-importance, an excessive need for admiration, and a lack of understanding of others' feelings.[2][3] People affected by it often spend a lot of time thinking about achieving power or success, or about their appearance. They often take advantage of the people around them. The behavior typically begins by early adulthood, and occurs across a variety of situations.Bloody hell, nail on the head or what? Lol

Have been watching this for a while and bought in just above the placing price but have always been put off by the inane ramblings of one poster here who I would diagnose as having Narcistic Personality Disorder.
Look forward to a more productive discussion

The science is worthless, yes I'm sorry, WORTHLESS without approval and commercialisation.

are you referring to scancell ?

Your pedantry regarding speed vs volume is quite irrelevant.

depends if you consider your claim of speed ....... to be correct

if you had put ...

Optical is the fastest because it allows large data packets to be carried which a modem cannot do because it cannot handle large packets without sending them one at a time then that's fine so what you see as speed is actually Vol ...like shouting sending out more vol ... but its not faster than speaking quite (speed of sound is reasonably constant in the same environment) (ie pressure)

and happy to move on to scancell

Inan,

Your pedantry regarding speed vs volume is quite irrelevant. I am looking at the RESULT, ie, the human being sat at his/her computer pressing the button and waiting for something back. In the 70's it was very slow, today it is blisteringly fast. If you gave me the choice, I would opt for broadband. I don't care why I get the answers quicker, I'm just happy that I do.

OK, let's get back to Scancell. I'm interested in RESULTS here too: 1 Successful in Curing people and 2 Commercially successful.

You are fixated with the "how", "the science" in a similar way that you can't accept broadband is faster than dial up. The science is worthless, yes I'm sorry, WORTHLESS without approval and commercialisation. This takes a bit more than science, I won't say what as many, many here have highlighted it for a long time but you can't seem to grasp the concept.

Its a subject dear to my heart ... but appreciate i like thinking .... and I can't add to what i have already posted, Nothing is jumping of the page to suggest any new thinking at present so a bit of basic electricity and discussions on "sampling processors" and computer "lag" makes a bit of a change

Inan,

No definitely don't want to get involved thanks and here's the rub - I don't care who is right, I have no interest in the laws governing the speed of transmission and even if I did, with an IQ somewhere around 32 I probably wouldn't understand anyway.

If you ever get back to anything remotely about Scancell, let me know.

a millionth of a second advantage, can be absolutely crucial

only for a high frequency trading ...

and actually that again is the distance to the servers ... they need to be as close as possible to remove a Millionth of a second "cable length"

you won't notice that on your netflix download

Lol

Not quicker just more function because of bandwidth

are you now saying the first mobile phones had delay ???

packed, then unpacked

ie you spoke, then waited 5 secs for a reply ???

inanaco

Gazza,
a better analogy is, its not the journey that takes the time, its the packing and unpacking, but i think that you knew that anyway, so you're absolutely right the modern systems are much quicker, and bearing in mind what a lot of these systems are being used for, a millionth of a second advantage, can be absolutely crucial, so you're right sir.

easy way to compare that would be with an old AV 5.1 surround 1990 ?

compared to a modern dolby atmos

both able to keep up with Lip sync ...

Lips to voice on your TV

any computing delay would cause them to go out of sync

inanaco

now the electronics that encode today maybe fractional quicker but that would only be in Millionths of a second

you would not notice it

The problem here boom, they think they are right because they don't understand the laws governing speed of transmission over a network be it electricity or light.

which is the speed of light

once all are connected

acoustic
dialup
broadband

are all capable of transmitting 1 bit ... over the network at the speed of light

the difference only being capacity .. ie the number of bits which is bandwidth

Boom

depends if your inquisitive enough to get involved,

would love to see how Gazza overcomes the laws of physics
