Checked with Efficiency Department who stated :



In fact these question should be addressed directly to the makers. As a shipping company we can only use the products available in the market.



“For the moment, MSAR as emulsified fuel where water and heavy fuel oil are blended to make a fuel in order to lower emissions, also produces less power in the engine, which we are sure you are aware of, and does not make it ideal in the competitive actual market”

“We are not aware yet if biofuels are being used in the mixture and for the moment our concern is to use as much bio fuel as possible”
