what happens if Pressac de list and then continue to trade as private co? Do shareholders still hold shares and how would you trade them?

Liquidation equals 0p for shareholders - that I understand.

But for a simple delisting should the current holders not be offered some crumbs?

puguly...im afraid you are right...

In actual fact its likely the disposal of assets may not even repay all the debt.

But in any event shareholders are always bottom of the list. Bad day im afraid.

So TT get what they want out of Pressac for next to nothing. That was the whole idea of putting their people in directorships in the first place. What a rip off for investors in this company.

mcfctrader:- imo No

- Subject to the terms of the debt - Possibly a sell down of assets to repay as much debt as possible and then possible liquidation - Remember shareholders are at the end of the line when it comes to liquidation payout. All imo and dyor.

Will they not need to buy current shareholders out?

Even at 1p per share?

The purpose of these bbs is put info out that will ultimately help everyone and in fact give due warning in some courses in order for shareholders to get out of a bad situation.

No option now if investors dont get out they are completely stuffed how hard that will be now the co has indicated it will delist.

Jeez. Talk about shutting the door after the proverbial horse has gone walkies. Say something useful please. Also have some compassion for many small investors who have lost a packet on this one (refer the proper PRSC thread that has been tracking the company for over 2 years).

On the cards wasnt it. A delisting wont stop the co going bust neither!

We should have the announcement about the financing arrangement before the final results, which at this stage is more important than the final results or maybe we will get the lot on the same day. 2004 will not be good however I was hoping for a positive statement/outlook for 2005 and 2006 but I have given up trying to predict anything with this company. Let get the prayer book out and start praying.

The m&s ruling today on offsetting foreign losses for tax purposes could have huge implications for pressac.

How you doing guys? It's not good to hear talk of delisting and "no known reason for recent share price rise"... to thruppence. Jeez, and to think I made a grand or two when I bought at twenty something and sold at thirty something. I guess with experience you get better at spotting the signals. I look out for when the RNSs always seem to be bad news, even when there's profits coming in, and reckon it's down to cosy chats between directors and creditors that somehow seem to end up with shareholders losing out.

Well I guess that if Rover go to the wall then that really will be the death knell for PRSC and probably several other companies like them.

we live in interesting times,
but it will be nothing short of a miracle if we have a competitive bidding situation.
