23/3/2005 07:41 | Just seen back of FT,sure enough jwcs post is there, hope your top up pays off big style jwcs,I still average around 12p. | partner
22/3/2005 23:33 | Pressac, the East Midlands electrical components company, jumped 25 per cent to 2.5p on rumours it was close to agreeing a new financing arrangement with its bankers. Pressac shares slumped last week after it revealed it was in discussions with its principal lenders, HSBC and JPMorgan Chase, over its credit facilities and admitted it was reviewing its listing status. FT I'm normally a good contrarian indicator with PRSC, but with a 100k top-up on Monday I might have called it right for once. | jwcs
22/3/2005 14:23 | The order book which currently produces over £100 million turnover could be worth umpteen million by itself. IMHO DYOR On the other hand it could be worth zilch. tough to call. bomfin | bomfin
22/3/2005 13:52 | Should have taken the plunge at 1.65p! Anyway - more interested in HTH (Hartest Holdings)- positive outlook in the year end accounts - market cap now only £1.4m. Fell yesterday on a couple of medium sized sells. | double6
18/3/2005 18:59 | emirestate,I have a lot of Prsc shares at a much higher price than 12p,it is a hard time for the shareholders and I agree with "Nchls" that they are at crunch point and maybe there trying to force someone's hand. If trading is starting to pick up it makes me wonder what is really going on, at least there was a bit of recovery at the end of the day. We may have some weekend press. | jack.f
18/3/2005 18:14 | double6 there you are........... I've been looking everywhere for you, I used to enjoy your tips, but haven't seen you for ages? Are you not posting now? What shares are you holding? Hey its good to see you again, regards........ | gettinther
18/3/2005 17:04 | i do note that there appears to be no large selling, obviously the few larger volume sales yesterday were not above the 3% mark. could anyone kind sole give me the over 3% shareholders list plse | empirestate
18/3/2005 17:03 | cheers jack for your views, i think i will make a small addition to my holding as a few grand more won't damage me severely if it goes all pete tong | empirestate
18/3/2005 16:27 | jack.f, thanks for the info. provides some re-assurance. As you suggest, apart from the de-listing option, the statement was postive regarding the re-negotiating of the debt which is an important issue. I assume the de-listing option is being considered soley for the associated cost savings which would be fairly substantial. Pressac are at a crunch point now and i expect the creditors will really put the pressure on the company to realise some of it's asset value in order to pay off the debts. So, a major company re-organisation may be on the cards which would be good news for investrs who get in now. This is a risky one so dyor. | nchls
18/3/2005 15:57 | empirestate,if this helps, when I spoke to Woodwark yesterday, I mentioned about selling he give a bit of a disapproving grunt, he told me to take a hard look at his statement. I also asked him a few other questions about France, but he did say that they are very good questions but we are in our closed period. I got the impression he was telling me to hold and wait and see and that's what I am going to do. Level 2 anybody | jack.f
18/3/2005 15:35 | ...it's all over now baby blue... | penrynner
18/3/2005 15:14 | its all over.believe me. rather like marconi before the recapitalization. never seen such a chart, never seen such disinformation. am now just surprised it took so long. surprised too that ttg were succoured in. the longest death throws imaginable. 20k poorer. R.I.P | cg1953
18/3/2005 13:54 | i cant see any point in selling at this level , i may as well wait and hope that some one does take a fancy to Pressac, i just wonder how much street value the company has. | empirestate
18/3/2005 13:44 | empirestate, I do not know much about de-listing, at this stage we can only sit tight and by the end of April we will have the answer. I wonder why Woodwark did not give a trading update, maybe because it has not changed from the one he give in Dec. | jack.f
18/3/2005 13:21 | Actual Spread ~ 1.25/2.00p. | double6
18/3/2005 12:58 | price is still drifting L2 2/2 from 3/1 | empirestate
18/3/2005 12:56 | jack.f i don't know much about de-listing etc but i read it as the condition of the extension would be to de-list so that the banks could lay their hands on the company to recover their debt with out having the hassle from disgruntled share holders who would only be left to pick up the scaps. plse tell me that i am wrong as i have a good few quid on here at an average of about 12p cheers | empirestate
18/3/2005 11:07 | For what it's worth, I had a phone conversation with Woodwark 5.30pm yesterday and he implied all is not as bad as the City or the investor seem to think, he said read the statement very closely, reference to:- To date, discussions with the Principal Lenders have been constructive and the Company's Board remains confident that an extension of the Credit Facilities will be agreed significantly in advance of expiry on 30 June 2005. | jack.f
18/3/2005 10:47 | At some stage these will be worth a BIG GAMBLE - could lose it all, or, as you say, a cracking recovery play. I have NOT yet bought - would be tempted if I could get in around 1.25p. (Actual spread now 1.30 / 1.81) | double6
18/3/2005 10:40 | Watching this one with interest but don't have a position. The most likely thing that will happen here imo is a move to AIM and/or takeover. Amo PS Could be a cracking recovery play (as daft as it sounds) but with high risk attached. | amorruso
18/3/2005 09:43 | Actual Spread 1.30/1.65. | double6
18/3/2005 08:44 | how the mighty have fallen. never read such a statement in all my life. more fool me. bigger fool ttg. rip. | cg1953
17/3/2005 20:06 | wasn't ttransware in the same sitution.. but in the end i did gewt some money back. | latifs100
17/3/2005 19:41 | Chessman...Transense Technology has got me off the hook... | penrynner
17/3/2005 19:23 | Welcome to a dubious club. I only have a few of these but I also have shedloads of Eurodis. Unlike Peter Webb I also have Dragon Oil which has got me off the proverbial hook with the wife! | chessman2 |
