Just listened to the Altice USA chairman/CEO talking on CNBC. He made the point that he doesn't see the point of going to Docsis 3.1 just to deliver 1 gigabit speeds so they're going for 10 gigabit.

Yea I was lucky enough to get a lot of my Pace shares into my share ISA during the slump otherwise I would have been up a certain creek without a paddle, I only have about 16k of Pace left in my trading account, although trying to work out the actual realised profit is nigh on impossible. My problem this year is Barclays.

I don't have a spouse, just a live in partner which wouldn't count. What is the difference between a bed and ISA and simply selling the shares and transferring the funds into the Share ISA?

transfers between spouses are cgt free... and you and your partner each have cgt and isa allowances...
obviously, it'll depend on your personal circumstances and your trust in your partner...

T - yes you can bed and ISA them but that will still crystalise any gains from a CGT perspective.
