18/3/2015 09:53 | No it said they would look at farmins on a case by case basis rather than proceeding to buy Alpay Energi | welsh2
18/3/2015 09:24 | San Leon gave up on Alpay a while back | akajimmy9
18/3/2015 09:02 | What happened to San Leon farming into Alpay Energi - wonder if that will still happen - presumably everything on hold until outcome here known | welsh2
18/3/2015 08:45 | Ah well....end of the story for Niche Group ...or is it ?? If NGP do manage to get some of the funds back then it may become a cash shell for RTO or return whatever is left to shareholders ?? Question is does Oman have any assets on the ground ...and not sure what they will be worth after KPMG take their cut. Also maybe KPMG ought to pursue the directors for the remainder if the assets do not come make up £18m...John McEon etc. But hey this is AIM so perhaps we shouldn't expect much. Ah well at least soem movement .... | sirraman
17/3/2015 09:05 | Niche are a creditor - how much will they receive? - who knows | welsh2
17/3/2015 08:39 | brilliant news but what does this mean for Niche, will we eventually receive from money from the liquidation proceeds? Do Oman have many assets? | akajimmy9
17/3/2015 08:35 | surely we had some asset security for the 18 mil ? | currypasty
17/3/2015 08:31 | Wouldn't have thought so. | 113mike
17/3/2015 08:29 | so is there any chance of some us getting something back from Oman ? | currypasty
07/3/2015 15:31 | Another company, Oman Resources has built up a 50 per cent stake in the Hatay blocks from 2011 article. So it seems OR has an interest in the blocks?? | welsh2
03/3/2015 08:40 | Any more news this week I wonder? | welsh2
23/2/2015 10:06 | pr1 - Can I add my thanks for your research and generosity in sharing it! | blue59
22/2/2015 16:58 | yes it is far too complex to understand - just have to hope it will all end well | welsh2
22/2/2015 16:55 | I read again the court order, there's a lot more to it, as the revenue commissioner is involved, also, the winding up hearing is week after next, after all the docs have been submitted, but the court order restores oman resources as if it had never been dissolved etc. Looks pretty highbrow all this, and there's been two affidavits sworn by rp at niche one in mid jan. I dunno what depends on this, save a liquidators report saying what's happened etc to oman since it statrted up. Not long till that hearing if the 4th February was kick off date for everything. IMO gla | peckhamrye1
22/2/2015 16:38 | I wonder what would be a positive outcome and more importantly does NGP depend on this outcome to continue longer term and then put into place other investments in pipeline - relisting to AIM? | welsh2
22/2/2015 15:22 | Good qu. It was NGp that presented it, so that stopped oman from just dissolving in a natural or normal way. NGp must have a reason for this line of action, normally it's only a creditor that can wind a company up, so if NGp are a creditor they can get the liquidators report which looks into all sorts of things. The judgement said four weeks so from the 4th that's to week after next. Solo check irish co info will post up all the stuff with any luck. IMO. Gla | peckhamrye1
22/2/2015 15:04 | How does this winding up order adv NGP? What does it all likely mean?? | welsh2
22/2/2015 14:47 | No t he judgement is for winding up oman resources, which means a liquidators report I think, you'll have to check that as I'm no expert. All IMO. | peckhamrye1
22/2/2015 14:21 | you mean the judgement is that NGP takes over Oman Resources??, Oman is currently not trading but has assets such as in Turkey?? | welsh2
22/2/2015 14:13 | I'm not sure these days what oman owns and esp after the sle deal went sideways what did that mean niche owned...5% in the end. But niche got what 27 mil in funding, which it handed to oman who handed it to alplay or arar for the licenses, drilling etc.. Or some big chunk of it got handed on, I've lost track. Maybe the liquidators report will say what's happened... Someone's gotta a lot of work to do before the 4thmarch. Reconstructing accounts and stuff... Big job that... Good for niche is all I can say glad they got that judgement. IMO. | peckhamrye1
22/2/2015 13:34 | It said in that Sunday Times article that NGPs convertible loans to Oman Resources to invest in Turkey were to convert to a % of Oman Resources if production targets were met? So does that mean Oman Resources owns part of the licences/other assets in Turkey?? | welsh2 |
