Mobico/NEX was making 25p EPS pre pandemic. Yes there was a placing due to Covid but what happened to the EPS? The NAV remains multiples of the current share price

Thanks Chester. That's only a small part of its debt refinancing. As the tickos.will see, future refinancing will not only be significantly more expensive, but it will not be so generous either!

Good to see alternative thoughts than the thickos, it reveals others agendas..Let's see after Q2 results revealed, company is not going bust, it could raise cash if needed as shown by their recent debt refinance..I do agree that the company is being positioned26 September 2023MOBICO GROUP PLCMobico Secures €500m Debt FinancingMobico Group PLC ("Mobico" or the "Company"), a leading international shared mobility provider, announces that it has successfully priced and issued €500m eight-year notes under its £1.5bn Euro Medium Term Note Programme (the "Bonds"). Talking of prepack with 300 million in cash and 600 undrawn RCF, with interest covered by earnings, reason for adjusted loss an onerous contract provision.
Prepack, what an idiot post

Simply wouldn't occur to the thickest of the thick that they would want to command the strongest hand in administration in order to have the credibility and gain the confidence of the creditors when this shower falls into prepack.

Well I can't imagine they are shorting to hedge against a 23% stake, they are so underwater that even a disclosed 0.5% short wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference.
Lending to shorts to drive the price down would only benefit them if they then swooped and bought a shed load more at a much lower price. Maybe that's their plan B in case plan A the CEO actually starts to deliver.

Who is know what they doing with their stake...they might even be lending their shares to short/longs in the process earning commission?...or shorting their own stake to hedge...do they really just buy and sit on it?...

That's what I don't get about cosmens, if they truly knew what the fy update would be, why would they pump millions into it either side of Xmas in the 70/80s, they could have waited and saved millions!!

It's strange then how the Cosmen family keep pumping money down the drain as you see it, as does the Company secretary buying yesterday.Good point from LSE that demotion from 250 could mean funds dropping out of their trackers. Good play for shorts perhaps.Appalling 30m contract loss, unaffordable 41m dividend. They understand their mistakes at last, with that kitchen sink was throw into last results. No Cosmens then less confidence perhaps but they know their onions.

Chester
Not really because he probably isn't told necessarily when Cosmens are going to add further.
Obviously no ongoing discussions but at this valuation and the plan to sell NA schools, an approach could be made at anytime.
