The price action suggest we're expecting some news or other catalyst to take us significantly north of the current share price

Not investment advice, just one to watch.

They changed the rules, so part of the work has to be re-done. It's not rocket science. Expecting top-end of EBIT estimate so hoping for a drop to top-up.

old guidence -- The Board continues to expect Adjusted1 EBIT for FY 2023 to be within the range of £175m-£185m, as provided in the Q3 trading update on 12 October 2023. Covenant gearing is anticipated to be broadly in line with the half-year position and with significant headroom.

New guidence -- As a result, the Group updates its previous guidance to reflect the situation and notes that:

· Given the remaining judgemental items to be finalised Adjusted1 EBIT will now be in the range of £160m - £175m although the Group's expectation is that it should be at the upper end of that range; and

· It expects an increase to the onerous contract provision as at 31 December 2023 of about £70m in addition to a prior year adjustment in relation to the onerous contract provision in FY2022 of an amount in the region of £25m.

however a number of judgemental items relating to the German Rail business remain to be agreed between the Group and its auditors.🤔

Love the word “judgemental” 🤦🏻‍♀️ more exposure coming out, terrible management, delaying account etc

Will there be another trap door event?

this news was out tonight .......

"In Germany, producer prices fell more than expected on an annual basis in February, according to the federal statistics office.

The 4.1% decline exceeded economists' forecasts of a 3.8% decrease, driven by lower energy prices.

Intermediate goods were also cheaper compared to February 2023, while consumer and capital goods experienced price increases.

Energy prices saw a notable 10.1% decline year-on-year, with natural gas and electricity prices dropping by 17.7% and 16.8%, respectively."

The above could have helped the German train aspect today ? or in the alternative could help the share price 'morrow ?

Late March fast approaching. Inflation dropping, interest rate cuts in 2nd half. Now BOD you have 8 trading days to update as per your deadline. .If leave to 29th it looks bad. If miss deadline then incompetent. Guess either 21st, 26th or 27th..Anyone seen an actual date?
