Noticed that volume has been increasing this week and particularly today. Only 4 weeks to wait until the full year results.

Once again this morning, disproportionate share price mark-down relative to the number of shares actually sold.

Price movement not making any sense this morning ... only one sale (1k) marked so far after numerous buys but price down 2.5p. A large sale being delayed or simply the usual MM games?

Looking at the long term chart could be a big break upwards coming... perhaps next results will be the catalyst....

LPA don't seem issue separate contract win news, but I an sure the rail sector is the driving force behind the recent positive trading update.

The news that Hitachi have won a £60.0m contract from Hull Trains is welcome, but the really big one was the announcement last month of a £1.0 billion order for carriages from Adellio (East Anglia Rail) to Bombardier. Wonder how the statements will read once orders are received from that contract. From Galloping to Charging?

It rather suggests that LPA might want to up its game on the corporate relations front if they have got serious business from this hull trains announcement.

Thanks Castleford Tiger, highlights again what an active sector LPA are servicing. Hope you don't mind if I post this info on the company thread for PEG that also operates in this sector.

HULL TRAINS has announced a £60m investment in new Hitachi trains.

The firm says the investment will deliver 50% extra seating after it secured track access extension from the office of Rail and Road, allowing direct services to and from London until 2029.

Hitachi will deliver five AT300 trains of five carriages each used to travel on the electrified East Coast Main Line to London King's Cross, and then on diesel power for the non electrified line to Hull and Beverley.

This has to be good for LPA

Shares building a platform for the next leg up. Easy 10/15% here just in a few weeks.
Problem is trying to buy the shares .

Always very satisfying when you get into a stock ahead of the popular tipsters and pundits. It confirms you've done your research.
