14/10/2016 08:25 | Very illiquid, Robbie's followers could push this up fast. | bigbigdave
13/10/2016 19:10 | Thanks Robbie. You are a bit late to the party but its just getting going I like the look of tiddler LPA . Profits are heading higher and they seem in a good state with the shares looking cheap. And I do like buying shares that have great statements and I love this sentence from LPA: "Further to our previous statement which confirmed we entered the year at a gallop LPA is now able to confirm it is still galloping and that current market expectations for the year as a whole are likely to be exceeded." I love buying statements like this as a good chance next results are going to be good, pushing the share price higher. A small company but one that looks like it is going places. However as it is small I am always aware not to buy too many otherwise selling them could be hard. regards Tiger | castleford tiger
13/10/2016 16:49 | Thanks firtashia, I wondered if LPA had been mentioned somewhere. | interceptor2
13/10/2016 16:35 | I have added on the breakout before realising it had been tipped by Robbie Burns | modform
13/10/2016 16:31 | Been backed by the Naked Trader on his website, updated today. Could be the reason for the buying. | firtashia
13/10/2016 16:28 | Blue sky breakout now, last resistance passed from mid 2014. | interceptor2

13/10/2016 16:01 | Using Bulkowski's stats, Flag target is min 161.5, longer term Cup/Bowl pattern targets approx 189. | bamboo2

06/10/2016 08:38 | Hi Davros24, The link below is from the LPA website and gives a list of customers and type of products supplied, so you should gain a good overall feel and knowledge to the wide customer base. Also worth looking looking around the website, on the home page you can follow links that show the actual products that LPA supply to different industry sectors. Hope the link helps. | interceptor2
06/10/2016 08:17 | Hi, Just looking into these but can't find many details on the contracts they have won nor who they were for.Can anyone shed any light on their contracts in the rail side of the business? Do they just provide led lighting for rolling stock or also for buildings? Thanks, | davros24
04/10/2016 10:18 | I like their relationship with Bombadier which appears to be strong. What is running through my mind is the potential size of future contract wins that may be won through them. Bombadier recently won a £1bn contract with East Anglian rail network which is a significant win. I am absolutely positive that LPA will be involved in the tendering process for contracts and i can only speculate as to the size that they might be. | cfro
03/10/2016 16:34 | interceptor2, agreed and also added last week. Don't you just love the management that are generally conservative - upbeat statements have previously been followed by cautionary caveats, but not on this occasion. I like the bit about we've bought a new factory, oh and we've sold our old one for a £300k profit. Efficient springs to mind. Clearly they are currently very bullish so like you I would expect another trading update. Excellent management, great product portfolio, growing UK and export markets and a weak pound. There's only one way this share price is going methinks. DYOR etc. | chadders
03/10/2016 12:14 | Since the rather bullish update last week I have been adding again to my already overweight position here. With statements in March and last week that contain expressions like galloping and buoyant, plus extremely positive, I haven't read such confident outlook statements for a long time. And we still have until late January when they report full year results, if the company continue to gallop along ,I wouldn't be surprised to see yet another ahead trading update and further increased estimates. On a current year PER of 12, a dividend payer and with small net debt which is falling, and operating in growth sector, there is much scope for a continuing re-rating imo. | interceptor2
03/10/2016 10:00 | You can't keep a good share down ..... not for the want of trying by the MMs! | ansc
28/9/2016 18:03 | Excellent statement yesterday with WH Ireland indicating a +17% upgrade to PBT & +23% upgrade to earnings. WH Ireland's rebased forecasts:- 2016 Turnover £21.3m (from £20.3m) 5% upgrade PBT £1.5m (from £1.28m) 17% upgrade EPS 11.7p (from 9.5p) 23% upgrade They conclude, "The strength of yesterdays statement leads us to upgrade both our PBT and EPS figures by ~17% for FY16E and FY17E. This is the third upgrade this calendar year. Whilst we leave our dividend expectations unchanged for now, a strengthening balance sheet and enhanced earnings do provide the opportunity for current forecasts to be surpassed." Kind regards, GHF | glasshalfull
28/9/2016 17:32 | its building for the next leg up!! Excellent buy. Tiger | castleford tiger
28/9/2016 16:14 | Sp can be volatile and has tendencies to spike and drift. | cfro
28/9/2016 15:48 | So just been filled for an initial position at 145p having missed the early rise. Me thinks the MMs just messing around with the share price a bit but that's allowed my entry. GLA | melody9999 |
