Checking the trades data I'm getting the last trades as being on the 16th. Possible this is the result of advfn technical issues?
Or maybe selling has dried up?

Reading N Brown today -they give the date of their interims at the end of October!
It all helps to plan your diary and makes sure you are in front of the screen on the right day! Company has to realise their are lots of folk very interested in progess here.

Gleach, expect 29th purely based on the fact that half year results were published on the last Thursday of June for the last four years, i see no reason to change that.
Like last year, the second half underlying profit is likely to be better than the first half.

thanks Esther, yes I understand they are due towards the end of June but I hadn't seen anything specific about Thursday 29th, hence the question...

Tiger, Yes we own the freehold factory in Normanton, it was acquired for £1.05m then amended and extended.
Todays share price rise is on zero volume recorded, with half year results expected a week on Thursday.

After two months of light volume around 150p, the last two days has seen higher volume selling at around 130p. Does anyone have an explanation for this sudden bout of selling?
The only thing i can think of is Naked Traders original buy was 140p with a stop loss at 120p. His later bigger buys were nearer 150p -155p presumably with stop losses around 132p

not sure M ... but based on the TU at end of April this must be a strong buy at this price.

LPA is pleased to confirm that progress continues at pace , if not a full
blown gallop, with record orders entered at £14.8m and record sales of £10.8m
being achieved during the first half, underpinning prospects for the year as a whole, and the longer term. During April LPA has been selected for the first time,

Last year's Interim results were announced on 30th June so, come what May on Thursday, decided to add a few more today ..... to beat the rush!

Almost a daily battle recently with buyers to the fore one day only to be beaten back fairly quickly by sellers; some of them reasonably sized trades too. But who will hold sway by the time of the Interim announcement, usually in the last week of June?
