07/10/2020 12:08 | Now there's a radical idea that shows flair and imagination (i'm on one here chaps - all this rain - nowt else to do :-) ) Students at M/C university holding Covid parties. You have to be tested positive to be allowed in. Could be a blue print for pubs, theatres etc. Manchester you see. Always was a centre for innovation | scruff1
07/10/2020 12:06 | Claim it back Maxk :-) | bargainbob
07/10/2020 12:03 | £2k plus vat in my case Min (accountants fee's). All for nothing. | maxk
07/10/2020 11:57 | In fact thinking about it what if our two resident cheer leaders Witless and Unbalanced had said in the first instance that this would last at least 5 years. Would there be any point in Sunaks plan to give all our momey away to non existent and bankrupt businesses. Its becoming clear to me at least that the whole bankrupting of everyone and everything was pointless because it hasnt and isnt working. Plan B is urgently required. Doris should learn from me. I should have sold LLoy at 50p instead of holding on to a bad idea. | scruff1
07/10/2020 11:45 | I don't see why it is such an emotive issue for those with nothing to hide. | minerve 2
07/10/2020 11:45 | Sounds right to me too chavi. Big weakness with Doris and Mattildas current approach is there is no time limit. If this goes on for 2, 5, 10 or longer years wtf is everyone gonna do? Pubs will be shut, restaurants will be shut. Cinemas, theatres f* everything. They cant limpalong forever. So what then? Does Doris turn round and say look people thanks for all your efforts but it aint worked so lets sack it. Weve run out out of your cash anyway and nobody will lend us anymore. Lets give that herd immunity malarky a bash after all the NHS queues for operations for cancer etc are so long that death by covid is pretty unusal these days. Lack of a plan for the end game is always a weakness.eg Vietnam, Iraq etc. IMO | scruff1
07/10/2020 11:44 | You sound like you have something to hide grahamite. | minerve 2
07/10/2020 11:34 | Yes they're like the Swiss. | utrickytrees
07/10/2020 11:32 | Not myself, Max, but I've been involved in some. The question is, whether the state has the right to know every last little thing about you, and I say it does not. Government is a necessary evil and its scope should be limited. | grahamite2
07/10/2020 11:31 | I agree with M2 on this ...301 ...302 | k38
07/10/2020 11:22 | Have you ever had a tax investigation? | maxk
07/10/2020 11:22 | Minerve, you are a totalitarian so it's no surprise to find you supporting totalitarian methods. But some of us would prefer to live in a free country. | grahamite2
07/10/2020 11:10 | Why should anyone have to "explain" his wealth? Because those who can't are 100% criminals. | minerve 2
07/10/2020 11:06 | well done Boris. hxxps://www.business why graham? because the tory party is riddled with commies. | mr.elbee
07/10/2020 11:05 | #316292 I'm not sure I'm comfortable with concepts like unexplained wealth orders. What happened to doing things the old fashioned way - if you suspect someone of a crime, you get the evidence to prove it beyond reasonable doubt? Why should anyone have to "explain" his wealth? It puts me in mind of something I discovered about money laundering the other day. If the authorities can't find the evidence to convict someone, they can bring previous bad conduct in as evidence. But this goes against centuries of precedent in the criminal law. | grahamite2

07/10/2020 10:56 | I see the banner running at the bottom of Sky news is saying what I have been saying for weeks. Thousands of scientists are saying those that are fit and well should get out there and live life normally and build up immunity while protecting the vulnerable. Sounds right to me, after all with quarantine you quarantine the sick not the well. | chavitravi2
07/10/2020 10:56 | exactly , which is why they wont do the bleedin' obvious muppets every one | mr.elbee
07/10/2020 10:54 | all commies at the Bof E scruff... | mr.elbee
07/10/2020 10:45 | STOP HS2 and save £100,000,000,000 (that's one hundred billion) for a railway from London to Birmingham, that nobody will use if they don't live in Birmingham- it won't be going any further. That will pay for furlough and Bounce Bank loan fraud with plenty of change for start ups etc. | waspfactory
07/10/2020 10:42 | 7% increases in house prices from already high asking prices?...counter act the stamp duty holiday...have buyers lost the plot...it gives the illusion you don't have to come up with the stamp money now but that money and more is bunged in the form of debt with higher asking prices... | diku |
