24/5/2016 16:52 | Suspect saving that news to help the results go down. Hopefully it's a direct deal for better margins. Reading between the lines it appears the relationship with Megaman/Neonlite has cooled either because of, or the cause of, the terrible last half of 2015. Nothing ever came of the 52 or whatever countries that were supposed to be talking product samples and LW are dealing with Neonlite's competitors in India. Good to see the distribution channels being reopened in the UK. Can't sell if the product isn't in front of people, especially if you don't promote anywhere else. It's got to be up from here, surely. | sinkyj
24/5/2016 11:40 | Could be a chunky initial stocking order with over 460 stores plus the online offering | gozo
24/5/2016 11:36 | GreenRichard 3 May'16 - 19:16 - 2702 of 2746 0 0 edit New distributors in UK coming on board soon, including one previous but not current. Not disclosed but my guess is they may fix screws! | greenrichard
24/5/2016 10:08 | CT - they were selling lwrf products a few years ago. | nar1
24/5/2016 09:23 | Screwfix are they about to sell LWRF ranges? I happened to see this pdf on their site. | clocktower

21/5/2016 11:17 | Good to see new web app finally released | minione_pm
19/5/2016 09:42 | Something the directors need to attached to themselves for use when they fail investors, might wake them and get them off their butts and go get sales and create profit. | clocktower
17/5/2016 20:28 | I should imagine strategically they will want to get the mediocre results out first, with news or news afterwards. We all know what the results are already, almost, and they aren't good. So not likely to be anything before hand, in my opinion, Drifting is inevitable. | sinkyj
17/5/2016 16:06 | Seems like the boring factor has set in again, with a few sells of late going through the market - the large buyers that were about seem to have dried up completely. | clocktower
13/5/2016 17:10 | "LightwaveRF (AIM: LWRF) is a British 'Internet of Things' (IoT) company specialising in the design and development of home automation systems via Radio Frequency technologies and who have created the Lightwave RF Smart Home platform. This platform enables households and businesses to remotely operate and control appliances including lighting, heating and security using their smartphone." IoT is probably not for everyone:- Have a good weekend :) | michaelmouse

13/5/2016 07:42 | Which will come first, news or the promised figures? | lady liz
10/5/2016 15:18 | We were told at the AGM that this would not necessarily translete into a sudden increase in sales but just another increment to the credibility and recognition of the products. Commercially sensitive news but not really price sensitive. | greenrichard
10/5/2016 14:47 | Whoppy, Nest have their own infrastructure plans. I'm about 500m away from where they are currently hiring engineers, and have been told what for. They had already acquired an IOT hub company but recently closed it down. Works with Nest has been around for a while, even Philips are members. Lightwave are about the 80th member Think of it simply as Homekit by Google although it's not quite the same. They have a master APP that ties it all together. "One Home, One App" as they have said for sometime, which is remarkably similar to LightwaveRF "One Home, One App". Publicity will surely follow, how that translates to sales and for which party I wouldn't like to say. It depends on the depth of integration and what promotional deals have been done. Given the current LightwaveRF sales, I have the view any publicity is good publicity. | sinkyj
10/5/2016 10:13 | Struggling to get a buy quote for these. | minione_pm
10/5/2016 09:08 | sinky - you are correct. They need some good management to run this compan as it is so poorly run. Good engineers and excellent management make a good combination. We don't have that combination at the moment and haven't for years as shown so clearly in the share price. | yesrupnel
10/5/2016 08:35 | You would think Nest would have on their thermostat 'Works with LWRF' and buyout LWRF so they would have a complete home automation system to sell. For a small outlay they would soon make money and get ahead and take LWRF to the next level. Not sure having 'Works with Nest' on LWRF products will do much other than consumers go out and buy a Nest thermostat as opposed to LWRF products. I hope Nest are going to promote LWRF and recommend their thermostats work in conjunction with it and perhaps sell it.. | whoppy
10/5/2016 03:23 | Nokia are acquiring, more the health end of IOT, but gives some idea of the valuations possible if you get it right. ($192M). Having some experience in looking at companies for acquisition in this area, what LightwaveRF lack currently, is a credible management team to pull off this type of deal. Half the deal is about the people and where they can take the company with more resource. People are acquiring experienced engineers, not accountants. Look at the bios if the founders of Smartthings, Nest and Withings if any confirmation is needed. If Committed Capital want a serious return on their money, they need to think about taking the company to the next level. | sinkyj
09/5/2016 23:02 | Will be able to display the "Works with Nest" logo | greenrichard
09/5/2016 20:11 | As far as I remember, it was triggering the LightwaveRF home / away from the Nest home away detection. That's what was previously "pre" announced. | sinkyj
09/5/2016 19:33 | Are they buying out LWRF? or just a non existent Apple Homekit type deal? | whoppy |
