It makes no difference whatsoever if you buy in now or after the SML and selling half you're holding is a wise choice in my view.We have talked about pre news arriving but this has been many years now so it's a hell of a gamble.I'll hold for a little while but I have off loaded as I feel the same as TD it's far to risky and I don't for one minute this will reach double figures for a long time yet.

Is this for why the price is down again? There looks that people's are realising this not so safe a bet?"Yaki - just noticed this. But again, what has it got to do with the point I was making to Mr Accountant ? These sorts of calculations are routine and I made my own for Kibo (as well as for all other CTP's and many miners) when LC first quoted any figures at all - and have kept them up to date . But you seem to have forgotten who the 'investors' are for Kibo.? Where are they ? There is as yet not a single penny advanced to build MCPP (Sanderson hasn't contributed 'real' cash. Its merely been given a notional 'share' by a desperate Kibo who didn't have the cash to pay off its loan - so that means 'other' investors will have to pay that much more ! I bet they'll like that ')Will Kibo have anything to put into the pot beyond the - maybe $20m it might be credited with - if the mine is to be 'integrated' ? You tell me. Is it to be the present shareholders. If so they'll certainly have to have deep pockets. If to be outsiders they'll take their share of the return to investors shown in your table. Where will that leave all the crazy fantasies on here for the net amount flowing to Kibo and therefore its share price ? Again - You tell me !"

But there no need for this violence! This one post on the LSE and the others they spend the day being attacking toward him why? Problem with the other opinion which is not buy today and tommorow? Still no licences!"Late answer - I don't sit hunched over this BB all day. But Aha ! The accountant who reckons he knows all about NPV's, yet went on to spout the howler that 'paying' £100m for a £100m 'project' would be 'worth' £100m to the buyer. Having lurked a long time watching the interesting investment conundrum that is Kibo and its unfinanced project - and these BB's - I decided to jump in to this pit of ignorance (and eventual disappointment and despair) - having especially noticed his posts of a few months ago. There are of course accountants and accountants. There are those with a degree or higher, and professional qualifications to work at high levels in banking, project financing, and as company finance directors. And there are those who fill in my tax returns. A properly qualified 'accountant' would have spotted that howler. To help this one, here is some elementary algebra. (which we assume he can understand) Definition of an NPV as used in engineering projects like MPCC. NPV = Gross discounted lifetime profit after operating costs) less Discounted upfront capital cost. Lets simplify to NPV=G-C So our 'accountant' buys the project (as yet unbuilt and unfinanced) for its NPV. In return - once built - he gets G. But he will have paid G-C, and in addition will have had to pay C. Can our 'accountant' work out his profit ? Lets help him. Profit = G -(G-C) - C. Which equals ?? Why ! - Precisely Nil. So its only 'our' accountant would buy the project for its NPV. Ergo it 'can't be 'sold' for its NPV. (Blindingly obvious to anyone with common sense, even without algebra) A buyer might of course pay less than the NPV, in which case he might make a smaller profit. In the case of MPCC however the difference between G and C is very small. So the scope for any profit after paying less than G-C is also small. An 'accountant' would know that the key to whether a buyer at less than the NPV can make a profit is each's cost of capital - and the irr on the project. A very high irr (where G would be much bigger than C) could be 'shared' between buyer and seller, and one or the other could still make a smaller profit if his cost of capital is different from the other. But MCPP's irr is very low - not much better than the likely cost of capital in a risky economy. So Kibo's abiity to 'sell' even any part of MCPP (unless it has raised to funds to build it) is practically nil. The irr is also too low for any other partner in MCPP to allow Kibo any sort of 'free ride' (over and above what it has earned - in the mine and in consultants costs) - otherwise their own return will be even lower. A proper accountant would, of course, have known, and mentioned, all this ! As for ours ? - it must just have skipped his memory !"

All this time and still no licensing given? What happens with those company's that do not have a special relations? How much longer can the company go on waiting and waiting for month and month with not able to even dig the ground? When will they next come to market for monies placing? Perhaps a few weeks now money will be looking slim. Back for more drawndown from Sanderson will be laughing all the ways to the bank here they the only ones making money? Don't think this TANESCO theatre will help the things along or the Magufuli firing those who should be looking at giving the licence! If this to be so high priorities why it not at top of pile?

It's certainly frustrating when we never seem to hold any rise.Big seller in the background daily and it seems this stock is being watched like a hawk.Another leg up would be good to see but how long before were taken back down once again.Time is the essence here unfortunately and we can't change that until we hear news what the market wants to hear.Back to sleep for me !
