People keep saying news is due shortly unfortunately that has been the case for a few years and my concern is how many more years until FC is concluded. There will be no problem buying this stock whatsoever on news because of the shares in issue.IF it does hit 7p - 8p on news then it doesn't matter as all Stocks will retrace including KIBO.

I do not suggest anything to current shareholders.. no investment advice implied and specifically given..

Lets see where today takes us.. the share price already under pressure from the 4s..the 3's like a strong gravitational force pulling closer.. it really is obvious..

Let me guess - you would suggest I sell and buy back cheaper? What a surprise as you declared you are looking for a lower entry price...Not going to happen & what a scramble to buy even £1k shares on news that is due 'shortly'Again ....as a shareholder I've no worries waiting for our competent board bringing our Kibo project(s) to fruition. As none share holders why should anyone care what you think?A good day to Kibo holders! :)

The benefit of not being invested is I can view and post a rounded view of the company or at least an opposing view to the majority view which is oft posted. Certainly there are elements of the company which have made excellent progress and other than time scales I would say the company has adopted clear strategy and executed but the timescales are having an impact and the share price is the only indicator I am interested in..

not being invested doesn't mean that I wouldn't purchase shares in the future..

A bit like the hoped for investors of the flagship project that are required to progress this . Or the institutional Investors that I presume you hope will vault the share price into profits for you.... The questions and concerns they have and the rationale for not investing at the moment are key.. I would suggest LC will be addressing those entities concerns above the interests of existing shareholders..........

Take a moment... your post reflects exactly the tunnel vision approach which is keeping so much money trapped in the small value range...

Cash is king and the company is running out fast.. Short term requirement... going concern notes in Annual report.. PLACING or LOAN? same dilution effect.. more importantly continued suppression of the share price ..

Outcome.. cheaper entry point

Mr guitar you are not seeing the wood for tree here."As a shareholder I've no worries waiting for a competent board bringing our Kibo project(s) to fruition. As none share holders why should anyone care what you think?A good day to Kibo holders! :)"1. You not know that this board or any other to replace this will ever bring the projects of the company to the final closing, do you not ask how longer they can go as it will not be infinity and not all ball within their court. There may be no fruition. Do not talk of this as if it a guarantee outcome.2. Why should anyone care of my view if I am not a shareholder? So if I buy one share this makes my view more important and other shareholder will then listen? I say that a lie, from the LSE I see shareholder with dim view of how company progressing are bullied and talked down to the ground and postings reported and blocked. You try and hide the truths but it not so rosy as you do try and make out. News soon you say I ask you when and what news will it be? You say good, I say even chance of being bad.

So this to say the ESIA and the SML are due any day now and imminently how many months more can you go on saying this with no proof evidenced this to be true? Just as Coatee may say oh it will be coming no problem he may easily change his view one day and say sorry my friends the government has now decided that this will not be imminently and will be now not going ahead any day now until much longer time. Would then be blame sent to Coatee or Magufuli? Would not be Coatee fault if Magufuli change his mind again, but would be wrong for him not to tell the investors if this was the case and also to those that he raises monies with.

This is a short extract from a long post which is often rolled out as gospel truth . Pri ally posted 10 weeks ago (1st week April)
Given where we are today I believe it casts doubt on the credibility of what was purported to have been said

Could this have been just a rampers attempt to spin and obtain a higher exit price?
Someone has been selling down their position. Who will be left holding?

Why would a CEO say such things and if he actually did then what conclusions would we draw!

ESIA -

What does the ESIA Certification process involve?

Literally just a final check and a signing off process. There could be the odd question that may come back to KIBO or a confirmation of certain elements but basically it is what it is, a signing up process.

Given the timelines for ESIA certification acquired by other companies, the ESIA certification for KIBO should be imminent. Is there anything else that is holding this up i.e hanging on outstanding policy changes and should we expect this any day now, by that reasoning?

Yes KIBO are awaiting this to drop anytime now with nothing else holding this up.

SML -

Given the timelines for SML approval acquired by other companies, the SML approval for KIBO should be imminent. Is there anything else that is holding this up i.e hanging on outstanding policy changes and should we expect this any day now, by that reasoning?

Again, yes KIBO are awaiting this to drop anytime now with nothing else holding this up.

So
"...Yes of course you can make a profit if discount rates fall."

What about if discount rate stays constant. Can you make a profit by investing in a project at NPV? Or do you still claim that you can't buy a project at NPV as you wouldn't make any profit.

My earlier example showed that for a project that is -200 + 10x50 and NPV10 of 100, you outgoings are 300, where your income is 500, ie 200 profit.

As for the actuaries final exam, if you mean the fellowship paper , it has never been examined at universities?!? And it comes after passing c15 other exams once you get your degree!

Mr Yaki. My name is Lurker 5 who is John ?
Yes of course you can make a profit if discount rates fall. But why do you suppose in practice those 'target' NPV's are never, ever, achieved by a share. My own research over the last ten years has shown that even for fully funded projects the share price for nearly 100 mining shares covered has hardly ever approached half a theoretical NPV value. Its because the institutions who determine a share price in the long run won't pay more. As for maths mine was at masters level for an engineering degree and my 2nd year fellow students used to go off to UCL and take the actuaries final exams just for fun ! I've come across lots of actuaries. Their abilities are limited to applied maths and statistics and they have no clue that higher realms of maths exist.

It is always important to understand someone's agenda whilst reading posts and not to simply take as gospel truth..

Interesting to see you post today Mr K.... been a while. Hope you are well.

Would you consider reinvesting in Kibo given the updates since you divested your shareholding or is your post seeming to reference the slippy timing (delay) nature of the projects strategy an issue too far?

I hope you have had some profitable months since you released your capital from Kibo..

An extract from the often reposted notes with some comments in CAPS. THE COMMENTS ARE OBSERVATIONS BASED ON WHAT HAS TRANSPIRED AND BEEN CONFIRMED BY THE COMPANY SINCE EARLY APRIL

Sandersons -

Can you give the exact repayment date of the current 2.9m loan facility?

There is no set date and this is a very fluid arrangement. The distinct impressions I got was that there is alot more commitment between all these parties towards eachother than we give them credit for. Sandersons are not there to screw KIBO over for missed dates etc. From what LC said it seems very fluid and flexible. He seemed relaxed to the point of dismissing this as any issue whatsoever.
I UNDERSTAND THE ANNUAL REPORT STATES THAT REPAYMENT IS ON RECEIPT OF CASH FROM SEPCO. SEEMS VERY STRANGE RESPONSE WITH THAT IN MIND> OF COURSE I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY THE ISSUE WOULD BE DISMISSED BUT IT DOES BEG THE QUESTION WHY BE VAGUE... OR COULD IT BE THAT THE NOTES GOT A BIT BEFUDDLED

How much currently of the facility has been drawn?

I found it hard to believe they didn't know the answer to this but felt it was more a point of not wanting to give any shareholders privileged information, therefore, as it stands we received no figure on this.

ODD THAT THIS WOULD BE CONSIDERED PRIVILEDGED INFO... DRAWAING ON A FACILITY WHICH HAD NO PENALTY FEES PER DRAWDOWN OR INTEREST OTHER THAN THOSE ALREADY PAID (IN SHARES) PERHAPS IT COULD BE THE NOTES GOT A BIT MESSED UP AND THE REPORT WASNT ACCURATE?

Given the slippage in timelines for FC what contingencies have you in place for settlement of monies drawn under the current Sandersons agreement and how can we best expect you to negotiate a solution to this?
See above. Totally unworried, I suspect an alternative cash injection possibly from selling part of this his he MCPP down, potentially GE appeared the favourites imo.

WHY WOULD CASH INJECTIONS FOR SETTLMENT AHEAD OF FC BE REQUIRED? I UNDERSTAND IT THE ANNUAL REPORT SHOWS THE REPAYMENT OF THE FACILITY IS WHEN KIBO IS IN RECEIPT OF THE CASH FROM SEPCO>> WHICH IS POST FINANCIAL CLOSE... PERHAPS THE NOTES MAY HAVE BEEN CONFUSED OR THE NOTE TAKER WASNT LISTENING MAYBE AND WROTE WHAT HE THOUGHT COULD HAVE BEEN SAID!

Do you conceed that where Sandersons has the right to convert up to £1.5m of amount drawn down on the Facility into Kibo Shares at the 30 day VWAP prior to the repayment date of the total Facility amount that there is an interest in the KIBO share price being low going through this period for them?

LC seemed to be of the opinion this wasn't in Sandersons interest to have a low share price. I asked him if maybe it was in their favour for a short time i.e the 30 day VWAP period at least to get the max shares for the upto 1.5m but LC seemed to say the it was at our discretion whether upto max 1.5m of the facility was repayable as shares.
HOW VERY STRANGE THAT LC WASNT CLEAR ON THIS POINT.... THE RECENT DETAIL STATES THAT THE OPTION FOR SETTLMENT IN SHARES IN NOT AT KIBOS CHOICE BUT AT THE OPTION FOR SANDERSON.. AGAIN IT SEEMS THAT THE REPORT OUT DOES NOT ACTUALLY REFLECT THE FACTS... WHY WOULD LC TELL AN INVESTOR THIS? PERHAPS WHOEVER WAS LISTENING MISHEARD THESE ALTERNATIVE FACTS?
I assume that as the deal and a repayment date seem flexible this maybe isn't a problem as previously explained but also I feel he has access to an alternate funding to eliminate this problem. I.e selling down a small stake in the MCPP possibly.

AND THEN BACK TO THE SELLING DOWN OF A STAKE IN MCPP WHICH KEEPS BEING ROLLED OUT AS A POSSIBILITY>>> JUST FEELS LIKE A PLATFORM FOR SOMEONES HOPES AND THOUGHTS... PERHAPS IT WAS NOISY AND STRAINING TO HEAR RESPONSES MADE SOME POINTS FOGGY...
