04/2/2002 21:24 | Follow the rules:- Buy good quality stocks with:- min of 5 years EPS growth a business you can understand generates cash div and cash cover of 3+ If your stock doesn't have these attributes - don't buy. A good quality stock is expensive but worth it - viz REX, VDY, SUY. | honiton
04/2/2002 20:29 | I lost heaploads on CTM during the telecom slaughter that followed Energis statement, but swallowed the bitter pill and started the recovery game. Now 25% in profit instead, and dragged myself from £26,540 in CTM to £40,105 in Danka during one week exactly. I have been damn lucky, but it does prove that DO NOT give up if your holdings have gone down the drain. As long as you've got capital there's always good punts to recover losses with. My sentiments go out to all of you IMS holders today. | erdmanski
04/2/2002 20:17 | I'm not in this stock, I got out with a profit but for the grace of God. I say that because on fundamentals I thought this stock was cheap and I have nothing but empathy for those that have lost a bundle | throc
04/2/2002 16:12 | I don't think people should write nasty things about the IMS share holders everybody want to make money here to loose all the money on a share is not very nice thing if you don't have a warm heart and you don' feel sorry for them please give youself a break and let the share holders have a peaceful time as well Note; I am not a share holder of IMS | bb007
04/2/2002 16:10 | IMS has always been on my watchlist, and I would appreciate if Percival could keep of the Griffin Mining thread if they fail to get their licience and the share halves, cause I own 63,700 shares, (half of my entire money). If it fails then I will go bankrupt and will need further funding from my bank to carry on trading and then after prison, arrrggggh | aggressive saver
04/2/2002 16:10 | Ramp ramp ramp............ Just tried to buy some stock - THE MMs WON'T SELL! Ramp ramp ramp.............. | bunnyboiler101
04/2/2002 16:02 | I can't help to write something here because some people seems no heart at all today's news may be is a bad news IMS holders may have lost all their money if you don't know how to say sorry and be a nice perpon you don't have to be on this board. NOTE; I am not a share holder of IMS but the share was on my watching list long time and still is | bb007

04/2/2002 15:35 | Please note: The phrase "pending clarification of our financial position" translates EXACTLY into "we have gone bankrupt". The next 3 statements of course will commence tommorow and will be "Called in the administators/receiv | zen_
04/2/2002 15:11 | Just come across this thread. Percival and friend what kind of significance are you after. Personally I am not even annoyed at the drop today, as there was obvious something fishy with the management and lack of clarification of the exceptionals. I actually feel my judgement is sounder after this. I bought before the rises after researching for a week or two, but always had that doubt regarding the integrity of the management, and some of the fundamentals did not appeal to the wife(call it women's intuition or how about luck). My mistake was buying a few more after the rise and when momentum seemed to be gathering, and only selling half at the first sign of that announcement 10 days ago. A few thousand loss can be made back with a week or two's work, and what is past is past. I genuinely hope nobody lost more than they can afford. Do you feel better now guys, I hope so. 04/2/2002 15:09 | I was a TCT holder so Jnauary wasn't a good month! I hold IMS so February isn't going to be a good month either. Fortunately I have various other holdings in considerably better positions. C'est la vie! | kilgallp
04/2/2002 14:19 | ok then - who has lost the most lolly ?? I wont laugh (too much) - honest ! | percival2002
04/2/2002 14:17 | I lurk on the fbb, and i have some read some unmitigated drivel, but this thread takes the biscuit. I only hope that those who take a pleasure in seeing other people loose their money are never in that position themselves, but, with the intelligence shown by them it is a dead racing certainty that not only will they but it has happened to them already. I dont care how well u read the situation, or how many warnings anyone gave re this company to take pleasure in others peoples downfall is unforgivable. | stable
04/2/2002 14:17 | hey ! let's have some balanced debate rather than all the ramping rubbish | percival2002 |
