21/2/2017 06:54 | ...is it even vaguely possibly that an International Airline might want to get a good hold in the UK airline business via taking over Flybe? I keep thinking that now Flybe is all dusted down and pointing in the right direction someone might want to buy the whole thing while its really cheap.... Say for about 70-90p range. This has happened to so many UK companies over the years - the one I remember the best is Arcadia (Topshop) .... Recovered to about 49p and then all hell broke lose , I think eventually sold for about £5 a share. Perhaps our tipping point will be 49p - its going to be an interesting ride | netcurtains

19/2/2017 22:42 | Come on B! | netcurtains
19/2/2017 11:29 | s34icknote: As well as normal cyclical recovery in airlines FLYBE has the ADDED advantages THIS YEAR of: a)cutting journey time from midlands to cornwall from 4 hour drive to 1 hour flight (this is a major expansion of flights): b) UK OIL INDUSTRY: With NEW Heathrow to Aberdeen flights - FlyBe have caught the revival of interest in North Sea Oil just right. Just look at HUR's (West of Shetland) share price... Flybe have got in at the right time and at the right price c) Really hot UK summer - ideal for UK based holidays (and thus internal flights): d) HEATHROW Speaks for itself (any expansion of Heathrow will also increase the number of FlyBe customers) e) Warren Buffett He sells walmart and buys airlines and apple... No smoke without fire! f) more more more g) less less less It says its acquisition of the 13 aircraft – the 10 from Nordic and the three from Rand – will reduce costs by £4 million over 2016-17 and, afterwards, by a further £8 million per year. h) average Taking the five year view of cycles, the average price should be around 60p (mid cycle), top ends of cycles around about £1.40... Since we're miles below even this average figure we can probably say we're near the bottom of the airline cycle | netcurtains
17/2/2017 08:49 | I might put my profits in here ! ? | s34icknote
17/2/2017 08:40 | yeah - I took an oath about 10 years ago never to buy an oil company again. I'm glad you're making loads but I'll not be joining you! I'm sticking with the "B"... | netcurtains

15/2/2017 19:55 | ...here is the link: From link: " Berkshire also reported a $9.3 billion airline stake, with investments topping $2.1 billion in each of American Airlines Group, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and United Continental Holdings. " If you think about it FLYBE would make a great fit for some major international airline to enable it to totally crack open the UK market! | netcurtains
15/2/2017 18:17 | TONIGHTS EVENING STANDARD ==================== Warren Buffet sold a load of Walmart shares ($900M) and bought with the proceeds AIRLINE COMPANIES and APPLE SHARES Could be good news for FlyBe if billionaires are moving back into airlines | netcurtains
14/2/2017 11:08 | Hopefully she will also buy some directly, with her own money. That would be more of a confidence booster, to suffering shareholders (and the share price)!!!! | bostonborn

13/2/2017 12:00 | dahYes. My avg is about that too.I'm thinking that if this hasn't gone up under Saad's time then not sure how it will go up now.Really not sure what to do.Shame really since Flybe did and still does look pretty good. Just seems so unloved. | anony mous
13/2/2017 11:41 | I'm in the same boat Anony Mous but am going to hang on for at least the next set of figures. I can't see any way that the share price will increase significantly without some confidence being restored and that will take time and good figures IMHO. I'm averaging 90p cost and just haven't the heart to go in again at these levels! | dahhad
13/2/2017 11:12 | Taking forever.Held and added last 3 yrs.Might just take a hit and sell.Lots going on elsewhere. | anony mous
