the sells are all small sums (£10k to £20k) - I guess momentum traders and chartists.
In this situation, if like me, you are totally convinced in your LONG position (provided no news to the contrary) I guess you will sit back and hold. Wait until the trend reverses or flat-lines and then buy a wad more. That is my plan.

What about other long-ers out there? What are your plans - similar to mine?

Cheers Net.

not worried about monthly changes (obviously I want it to go lower so can buy more) but it will blow at some point ... my hope is £1.5 within 12 months!

Very tempted to go in again but have already gone in a few times during the nosedive! I will wait until the figures are out for the year-end before going in again on the expectation that the results might restore some confidence and get the share over 50p again. I hope the recent reduction isn't the result of leaked information which did appear to happen here before!

I'm hoping for FLYBE to rise 300% by year end...

From Wikipedia:
"
In the UK, Flybe's largest base is at Birmingham Airport[36] and it has other large bases at Belfast, Manchester and Southampton airports
"
Lets look at three of these airports:
From Birmingham Airport (FlyBe Hub):
"
over the past year their long-haul traffic increased by 26%, with particular growth to the Middle East (+34.1%), North America (+32.6%). That was, of course, what they paid all that money for the runway extension for
"

From Manchester Airport (FlyBe Hub):

Said to be the biggest single construction project ever to take place in Greater Manchester, the 10-year scheme will more than double the size of Terminal Two and link it to an improved Terminal Three.

From Southamton Airport (FlyBe Hub):
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has started operating its expanded 2016/17 Winter schedule from Southampton Airport which features two new routes to Lyon and Munich, offering a total choice of up to 270 flights across 23 routes.
"
Then on top of this there are the new flights from LONDON HEAHROW:

Then on top of this there are the huge numbers of torurists coming to the UK since Brexit (Chinese in Birmingham for example)

Then there is the glut in oil which is causing the oil price not to rise as much as people had thought (thus saying airlines money).

Add all this lot together and it should be in FlyBe's favour.

The couch doesn't inspire confidence for Q4! We need some good figures for this to get any upward momentum (IMHO) and it could be 2-3 months before we get the year-end figures. ?

1. UK tourist levels at record levels.
2. Oil glut back / oil price falling (only will get worse as renewables get more and more common each year).

RESULT
Theoretically Flybe should be having a great year.

Should be trading at £1.50 a share

EasyJet going up!

OK, cheap pound has lead to the UK being flooded with tourists.
This means UK based airlines probably have had a bumper year.

FlyBe, being an inland UK based airline, possibly has had a bumper year. Its the main
rational conclusion one can reach based on tourist numbers to UK.

The emotional state of airline investors has not been good (paris bombings etc),
so FlyBe share price is about 50p, whereas it probably should be worth £1.50.

So if we get a good set of figures, peoples emotions might flip on a sixpence,
and we could see chart break out.

We need the accountants figures as the final item to break us out of this 50p resting place.

I've got in now to beat the rush!
