I doubt if Trump becoming PR consultant to Flybe could make the share price any worse

UBS dumping 3 million shares hasn't helped the cause.

Brokers are all over the place, like chickens with their heads cut off. Look at the real world stats on flight numbers.

Plenty of business trips needed over the next few years too, should keep flybe busy imo

But which target ? on June 22nd it was 100p and June 24th it was 30p. That's £100 mill difference which is more than ezj $ hit and that has a mkt cap 40 x flybe.

Salpara111, remember flyb have cash earmarked for potential divi. In the real world people are still flying.

Ryan air UP today and others, so are things that bad? Flybe poised to take routes of rya and ezj as they cut costs.

The pressure is on following Ryanair news, so HSBC maybe nearer the mark with their targets. Why would they buy if they thought it would fall much further, better for them to wait and make the most of the cash.

Well, back to the 40p line
Tempted but equally EZJ has been clobbered but offers a divi over 5% vs zero here.

Looks like the Cardiff to London flights werea complete succses.

This on the otherhand would put you off flying for life ... I heard they ran out of sick bags during the flight, some even walked out half way through!

AGM authorised 21.6 million share purchase and they only bought 1.9 million afaik so up to 20 million to go but they have until next AGM to do so. I think reasonable value is off the table until Nov figs. Hsbc have 20/30p target and Numis 100p. Personally I bought vog @ 40p 10 years ago and they went to 240p in 6 months. Admittedly that was a hole in the ground with a liar at the top but I have similar target in 3 years here in spite of the marmite scandal. Currently ezj dollar hit is more than Flybe mkt cap.

I have been out of this for a while and missed the recent rise and taken my eye off the ball. Am I correct in thinking the company is still planning a large buy back? I was working on reasonable vale of around 75p when I was in earlier in the year. Still reasonable?

Easy to think someone on the inside is giving out negative info but for the fact the company bought it's own shares for employees and sales/buys don't justify 20% drop. Not an exact science but since ezj news buys are 4mill vs 3mill sell wirh 1 mill ?. Put it down to thinly traded until decent conspiracy theory comes along

If it goes down much more Saad might show up in Nov dressed as a clown, since ezj announced 90 mill usd hit they are off 10% and we are off near 20%

Looking at valuations from other sources the only ones that seem near to realistic I can find apart from Numis are private investors valuations. HSBC have a 20p target and looking at Davy weekly book , a well respected Irish wealth management co, they have Flybe 2016 (actual) eps of 1 and p/e 2016(actual) 61. Might be why when ezj fell 6% because of dollar hit Flybe fell 8% and today ezj fell 2.5% and we fell near 5%.
Trying to get a handle on what is going on. Hsbc valuation would be only double the estimated 2017 profit? Saad be better off on Dragon's den at this rate.

Hoping for a dip in the 30's to buy. But Hosking Partners for "discretionary clients" suggests an industry buyer, shows confidence. I'd imagine they will buying again.
