03/11/2016 11:27 | if you can't work that out, you are an idiot | muffinhead
03/11/2016 07:23 | is ubs adding | ali47fish
01/11/2016 17:27 | What a miserable stock this has been for nigh on 3 years now. All those hopes when Saad took over, all the issues sorted except the f++king ridiculous share price Putting these in the bottom drawer now and think I will leave them to the grandkids. Sick to the back teeth of Flybe and won't be posting here anymore. Good luck to all holders. | wanttowin
28/10/2016 14:48 | Airlines going nuts today. Buying in to oversold on the cheap. | kmann
28/10/2016 08:47 | IAG showing resilience and the way forward imo. | kmann
27/10/2016 12:37 | good results would have underpinned Saad's position obviously not good enough :-) | phillis
27/10/2016 11:56 | Plenty of buying again. Question is what do they do with all that £100+ millions worth of cash from the fund raise. It can be put to better use imo. Get that Heathrow deal sorted pronto. There was only one guy standing in its way, and he's gone. Going to be some face value changes imo. A City friendly CEO, and fast track plan to more visable profit. | kmann
27/10/2016 11:38 | Ironic last year we had 8 mill passengers and made 3 mill profit which is 37.5p per passenger which is where the share price is at. | sandoval
27/10/2016 11:31 | Saad did a lot for Flybe, he has departed too soon. | lomax99
27/10/2016 10:54 | Flybe now in far better shape than 3 years ago.Cash is more than mkt cap so at some point (now that Saad is gone) it will rerate. | anony mous
27/10/2016 10:47 | Would love to see a takeover to get some value back but can't see who it would be attractive to! Wishful thinking IMHO but fingers crossed! | dahhad
27/10/2016 10:06 | Meaning taking on more popular routes rather than building growth from a low base. I think this had something to do with it, Saad called this wrong So if this offer is still open, expect Flybe to take it | kmann
27/10/2016 09:41 | I would be disappointed if we hadn't already been pursuing a commercial direction. | onething
27/10/2016 09:33 | My thoughts, if it was a sharholder revolt, and they got their way, they will be keen to appoint their own man, push the direction in a more commercial manner, and keener to add to their positions. Phillis, I think performance has been better than you expect, but as you say its a direction issue, that could involve a merger/takeover. He probably feels let down after pulling it back from the brink. He made some hard but needed decisions. | kmann
27/10/2016 09:24 | He is being paid a full years notice and has been put on gardening leave I deduce there is a significant point of disagreement re the way forward rather than dismissal for poor performance ( although I do not expect performance to have been good) Someone wanting to take Flybe out? | phillis
27/10/2016 08:30 | Looks like shareholders/city put pressure on here. Still holding £120+ million cash, so they are in good shape. A predetaor is on the prowel imo. Soon as the roumors start ... Watch this space! | kmann
27/10/2016 08:21 | A tasty morsel for BA? | trewinney
27/10/2016 07:33 | Tbh Saad had to go.Would of got shot saying this here but although he done good job on turnaround, the City did not like him.hence the share price never recovered.Looking forward now. | anony mous
26/10/2016 21:50 | I thought Saad was supposed to be the saviour of Flybe (Easyjet connections blah blah blah)- I have always said this company was poorly run and tried to warn in my posts previously but no one was listening. Only one way to go now. | ossies
26/10/2016 18:53 | Why would you kick out the ceo without a replacement in the wings now ? I would at least wait till Nov 9th. If no replacement by Nov 9th I'll be thinking he jumped. | sandoval
26/10/2016 18:27 | the guy inherited a business with a lot of legacy problems and he did a pretty good job of getting then sorted. Clearly there has been some sort of bust up but I guess what has happened wont become clear until the results if at all. If the results are "in line" then I guess we wont know why he was kicked out. | salpara111
26/10/2016 17:50 | All I can say, is the Germans are coming...... | hippo |
