04/7/2011 13:18 | thanks Dusseldorf. Also in Viridas (VIR) which should have something reversing into it soon... | mister md
04/7/2011 12:47 | Flojo / Mister MD - Am awaiting a response to an update request - will send chaser at end of the week. Depends whether 'after school holidays' from his earlier comment refers to the 6 weeks school holidays starting in 3 weeks, which means going to market for funds in September - I'll post here as soon as I hear anything | dusseldorf
02/6/2011 08:19 | Morning all,into june ,duss any news ?cheers. | flojo
06/5/2011 13:57 | Cheers duss ,keep us informed. | flojo
05/5/2011 09:38 | 'after the school holidays' of which year, decade, century or even millenium ? | mister md
04/5/2011 14:17 | Things are progressing slowly. Ivorian Coast prospect awaits licence ratification from the new minister for natural resources. Brian is also awaiting process of license in South Africa following a moritorium on licenses. I believe the Ivorian prospect will be marketed 'after the school holidays' whether thats the half term or September I do not know. Slow going, but Dimension very much alive and has £175k in the bank awaiting fundraising for listing be iut, Ivorian or South African. | dusseldorf
04/4/2011 22:19 | Are you certain Duss-the French have just got involved. | orvil
04/4/2011 21:32 | FLOJO - I had a mail from him week before last that he was meeting in South Africa last Tuesday and Dimension was on the agenda - nothing else specific. No update outside of that above. Though the situation in Ivory coast looks to be coming to a head meaning the Invorian prospect could be back on agenda sooner than expected. | dusseldorf
04/4/2011 14:30 | Duss ,heard anything emailed Brian some time back ,no reply !! | flojo
10/3/2011 16:08 | Oh well - time to put them back in the bottom drawer again. | ianbrewster
10/3/2011 13:26 | Had an update from Brian, Ivory Coast situation is not looking likely for an immediate resolution. Upshot from his response is: - Brian is still interested in pursuing the Ivorian prospect, but it's going to take longer 3 - 6 months? - PI's who participated in the November placement with funds held in Escrow will have it returned (e.g. including me and orvil) - There was £175k raised in private placement (unknown funder) towards Ivorian prospect which I believe will remain untouched on the DMR books 'ready' when needed - Therefore Brian will continue to fund immediate working capital requirements from his own pocket to be credited in form of shares when eventually we float - Brian met with Shore Capital who agree pursuit in South Africa of further resource projects is best course of action short-term as an aside to Ivorian project So whilst not positive - Dimension has cash, a broker and one prospect with the view to lining up more shortly. In simple terms the timing has been unfortunate but the objective is still the same.... | dusseldorf
15/2/2011 12:15 | Some banks are pulling out of operations in Ivory Coast. I've asked Brian for a further update after his meeting but no response as yet - I'm still not convinced at his optimism for a list before Easter | dusseldorf
14/2/2011 12:01 | I hold tom, mms and dmr . All currently suspended /delisted . Wonder which will win the race to relist , and when I might see my treble up ?? | h d shoring
02/2/2011 07:47 | Cheers Duss. | flojo
01/2/2011 10:21 | The wheels are still in motion, though I am not as convinced as Brian appears to be regarding political situation in Ivory Coast. From this morning via blackberry (Brian had an out of office for Johanesburg): "I am in Johannesburg at the moment and meeting the main drivers of the project tomorrow. I will be back in London on Thursday, when I will try to give you an update. But we are still expecting to list before Easter. Our feed back is that political problems are close to a solution." | dusseldorf
24/1/2011 16:52 | FLOJO-nothing in my view will happen whilst the political stalemate in the Ivory Coast remains unresolved. | orvil
24/1/2011 15:40 | Anyone heard anything ? | flojo
04/1/2011 18:12 | Good news on the Ivory coast front: fenseal3 - I'm equally frustrated at the length of time we have been away from market and the lack of progress, however, have resigned myself to being patient on the basis that if DMR was going to go bust/disappear - we'd have done it long ago. The communicated timetable of fundraising end feb re-list in March remains on track as far as I'm aware... Brian seems to have predicted the end to tensions in Ivory coast well enough in his last communication: The timetable is for the fundraising to commence at the end of February with admission mid March. Our information from Cote d'Ivoire is that the situation should be sorted out soon and we are continuing to work to that timetable.' | dusseldorf
30/12/2010 13:13 | Dimension Resources Ltd - prospecting in Africa Published by: James on 20th Dec 2010 | View all Articles by James Dimension Resources Ltd, a clean unlisted cash shell registered in bermuda is currently in discussions with a prospect in the Ivory Coast. The previously AIM listed stock has been in discussions with various prospects over the years, all of which have stalled, including: - Potash mines in Australia - Diamond prospects in South Africa - Diamond prospects in DRC, Democratic Republic of Congo - Renewable plantations in the Solomon Islands The outcome for the current project in The Ivory Coast (related to the latest exploration project) remains uncertain given the current political situation in the Ivory Coast. Indications from the company are that targetting a re-list (in either Plus, or more likely AIM markets) is being targetted for the end of Q1 2011. The re-list is dependent on being able to attract finance from the city. Dimension has around 266m shares currently in issue and was last valued in market at around 0.4p/share. The ORD is 0.1p/share. Dimension Resources is headed by Brian Moritz. Jonathan Moorley-Kirk of Fox Davis Capital is also a director. Neither Director takes salary for their activities with Dimension and Mr Moritz has also loaned the shell cash as working capital throughout it's unlisted status. Dimension has recently undergone a private placing in order to secure working capital and this conversion stock will be rolled into the floatation should it go ahead. Should the aquisition proceed, Dimension would be able to utilise it's tax structure for the longer-term benefit of shareholders. However, should the aquisition not proceed, the wait will continue for the long suffering shareholders who have not had a viable trading company since 2004. | mister md |
