I know nothing more than orvil I'm afraid. I have sent a couple of mails to Brian with no reply as yet - good news or bad he is usually forthcoming. Given that the open offer is still 'open' and certs for initial funds not issued, it suggests further cash is to be raised - presumably to progress towards or as part of a deal. DMR could if desired given historic AGM approval, issue up to 5.5bn shares at any price over 0.1p (ORD). Take a figure like 0.5p/share and this gives the ability to raise around £27m without further share restructure - though that scale is unlikely - and of course an aquisition requires shareholder approval.

This leads me to one of two conclusions, Brian is either a) in sensitive negotiations on funding/deal and does not want to release any information or b) playing catch up himself (given he operates with well over 10 companies) and is simply unable to give me answers on timetable as he isn't in posession of all facts and the company is still raising small scale funds.

Either case, looks like waiting. I'm not going to pressure for an answer at this stage.

Just spoken to the Registrars and they have confirmed that the Placing is still open and that no certificates have been issued yet.

Didn't someone on here mention they had subscribed for new shares? Surely news with re-listing is near now. You heard anything Duss?

I am around, I'm not an insider at this stage - just have no news to update yet. Rest assured there is never more than a couple of hours between when I hear news and it's on this board. I am awaiting an e-mail reply from earlier in the week for an update on timetable - new shares have not yet been issued and the open offer, may, still be open..

Happy new year - No specific update on events, though FLC did follow up today and got a reply indicating 'news' is expected 'very soon', and that the acquisition of a South African iron ore project is agreed in principle - though Plus listing must be obtained first.

I'd hazard a guess that the news is on application to Plus market and whether it has been accepted in principle, though even if accepted it could take a week or so to sort prior to listing...

Thanks Dusseldorf.
Whats another couple of months in the scheme of things ?
Probably take that long for me to find my certs .[not that I will sell] but can they go into my selftrade account on relisting?
Thanks also for your efforts in keeping us updated over the years .

H D Shoring - not until mid Jan for Plus I believe assuming all well (which I have no reason to doubt as had routine e-mail exchange on the take-up with BM today). All payments due to DMR by close today (by Nominees), so IMO they should at the very least know how much PI uptake there has been by next week to finalise the uptake between BM and the two sophisticated investors.

After that submit the application to Plus which I guess may take until first full week in Jan - then over to plus for a one to two week process.

Thanks for the frank and swift response Dusseldorf.

First reaction - ah... the ubiquitous Bruce Rowan. Not sure that exactly sells it to me, but I'll certainly look a little further.

I have not investigated DMR properly since its dimension stone origins, but I've been on ADVFN's resource boards for a heck of a long time and the idea of a lowly valued iron ore project interests me. As you imply, such a tiny shell could eventually attract a large multiplicand.

BR undoubtedly has the necessary resource contacts. Unless his investing stategy has changed, he is rarely a long-termer. Tends to spread his favours widely at a thumping no-lose discount, at very early stages.

The Bermudan out-of-reach-of-western-law registration is a worry and I'd take readmission to AIM in March with a oceanful of salt, but I guess we'll see. I might try my luck with Moritz after Christmas.

Best wishes,
DD

Would be good to see Bruce come on board here - I own a big chunk of Starvest and hes a decent man. Brian seems ok as well - not so sure about Hoodless though. Hopefully when this relists we can get a larger placement away at 1p+ with the right project

DoobyDave - would be good to know if you have any info that Dimension is any further on in discussions re:iron ore prospect. Indeed I do not follow any other conventional metals explorers, I have a small interest in Kenmare, had a small interest that got larger but jumped too soon on Frontier mining and have been following some duff oilers and banks but it stops there.

Brian Moritz knows Bruce Rowan (perhaps a future silent investor or prospect finder) and between them they have their fingers in most pies in SA and Australia as well as joint investment in minerals consultancy through Snowden.

My understanding is that Dimension will not soley be a metals explorer (unless you know different), but that the vision is a global resources shell (Bermudan registered) for various projects and aquisitions. The first project is to get the ball rolling and allow DMR to achieve a certain critical mass whereby it can begin hoovering up more projects be it metals, gems, oil, gas, stone or potash etc.. any that can have value added

Yes I believe there is value in the private placing because the placing only values DMR the shell at £415k - It was trading at £1m on speculation prior to de-list. The tax losses are worth over £1m in my view and it will have say £100k in capital and hopefully be Plus listed. Any return to AIM (hinted for March) with the corresponding substantial equity fund raising would IMO be conducted at a premium (certainly to placement price) but hopefully in excess of 0.5p. An Iron Ore project for instance I can't see needing less than £10m, but moreover £50m+

The idea being that people buy into the shell concept where it's overall value is greater than the sum of the parts due to skills/structure/vision/realistion of prospects. Once critical mass is achieved growth can be accelerated via share issue - not cash usage.

All a bit in the future at the moment - would like to see one aquisition progress so I can sleep easy over my investment. Six years and 5 failed prospects so far - I just want one to start the ball rolling
