03/7/2007 16:23 | John Reid is well over '60' as mentioned above, maybe 63. I was at Uni with him at Stirling in the 70's. I can say he was always very supportive of myself and other students who came into contact. PS Celtic shares should motor closer to 70p in coming weeks IMHO as the punters wake up to the fact Celtic are in the Big Cup soon. Cant wait for the new term eh guys. Hope Kaunas get a chance to kick the Gers in the teeth at Ibrox though I dont think they will be a match for them. | hectorp

29/6/2007 08:38 | Aye, it's the financial year end this weekend so there's likely to be a wee run on these over the next couple of months in the lead up to the results based on even the smallest level of demand. | thwaiteuk

25/6/2007 10:39 | Just a quick update on season ticket sales. All season tickets which include the Rangers game are gone and there are a few restricted view seats left. As it stands, there are only seats in the lisbon lions stand which don't include the Rangers game available so all looking good on that front. Mick | mickinvest

22/6/2007 12:26 | LOL! I'll be back for more Celtic shares later in July. Still got some from 49p. I propose there is still considerable upside to be had. | hectorp
07/6/2007 12:41 | The share is consolidating... a strong buy mid-summer IMO. May be immune to genera stock market action which could be helpfully defensive. | hectorp
20/5/2007 22:09 | Brian Quinn, non-executive chairman at Celtic, has bought 33,745 shares at 58.75p. He now owns 109,862 shares. From Scotland on Sunday | jsteveuk
02/5/2007 10:35 | CCP on the move again? Interestingly the Share MAg in their general listing of AIM shares says of Celtic's shares: 'did well this year thanks to getting so far in Europe... which will not be repeated next year' - HAve they got a crystal ball? are they 'Gers supporters? AS a neutral, I would still expect Celtic to have a good run ( even with the wee nupty-mothed Strachan- Manager of the Year eh! I can think of 8-9 other candidates, eg Craig Levein etc etc.). - Is he the fine strategist a champion team need? They tried! to play well against Hearts yet we were too strong in the end, with Kingston... The team will need a bit of quality new blood I expect in the close season. I suspect Hartley's not quite up to it ... Pressley's a stop gap, and again who would step into the Lennon role. Nakamura is pretty good, Riordan, etc. Oh dear I can see myself supporting them in Europe, as I assume Hearts won't get the 3rd place with Kingston out for the last 3 matches. | hectorp
29/4/2007 14:49 | Interesting Mick, and a Good match so far. Scotland On Sunday: Celtic Set to score with finance arm... Aegeon's 'Origen' will offer Mortgages, Life Insurance Investments, annuities and pensions to supporters ( and no doubt thir relatives) " This service will make it more convenient for people to obtain Financial Advice" The Club will recieve part of the income freom any services bought. | hectorp
29/4/2007 14:49 | .. Well Mick we gubbed your lot and spoiled your party, though they deserve the party having done so well again this year. This new Insurance and Mortgage development could be very lucrative to Celtic, depending on the terms they have managed to get from the Brokers. | hectorp |
