Everything is bad for business with Mines in charge.

Re the award

'The projects will use cutting edge science to deliver benefits for society'

No, the projects will continue to line Paul Mines' pockets.

Unsure if ever posted. £740,450 won by Biome & Universities

26 May 2016
A total of 16 projects have today received a share of £17M to bring innovative challenge-led biotechnology concepts to market. The projects will use cutting edge science to deliver benefits for society: from creating new drugs from bacteria, to making plastic from plants.

I'd say the next updates excuses are already written '...brexit,...blue chip clients holding off on expenditure etc' but yet more 'final stages of testing.....' on imaginary contracts.

Never known a company so poorly run and with such a self centred board - and I've seen a lot of dodgy companies and companies that have gone bust but very few as blatant in their disdain for their own shareholders as Mines & Standen at BIOM.

You've got to wonder how smart Viv & Rushton are they they have been zoomed so comprehensively.

BIOM down yet again

I wonder why? oh, yes - it is because not a single director will buy a single share with their own money, they have not released any RNS about a single deal being tied up and no-one, other than all the poor sad mugs who have been gulled into supporting Mines and occasionally average down, would touch this pig with a barge pole.

The destruction of everyones investment that has supported Mines with each cash call and dodgy 'we are in the final stages of trials' is appalling.

....but on a more positive note, while everyones investments are falling, he is rooking over £10kpm out of it + perks

That's £2500 per week + he earns for this debacle and he has a Chairman that is equally keen to turn a blind eye to his failings because he also gets recompensed handosmely for his one day a month.

Yet another great slice ripped off everyone's investment

Bid down from £1.70 to £1.60 based on no trades?

What a dreadful investment has been for all concerned. We are just lifestyle funders for Mines & Standen.

Anyone watch the secret with James Nesbitt on TV last night? where he was conned out of 000's by a scam with a box Japanese gold! Feels similar here with a box of biodegradable paper shares !! Ah well not lost the lot til the fat lady sings.Regards.

I'm thinking of getting a search party together to establish the whereabouts of the BIOM board.

They quite often go missing for long periods of time, especially after intimating that they have some final 'trials' etc and then only re-appear to present poor figures not showing any evidence of any new orders.

My suspicion is that they are basking in the sunshine on a yacht somewhere hot and laughing at all the mug punters that have paid for their largesse.

Certainly no sign of a single one of them buying any BIOM shares at all.

They are all gravy train riders so no way of changing the BoD

The 2 biggest holders - Rushton & Viv are absolutely shafted and are held hostage to Mines & Standens pipe dreams [which, by the way do not involve either of them, or any other director for that matter, putting their hands in their own pockets and showing any confidence at all in the stock].

They are in far too deep to find a buyer for any of their stock so are dependant on Mines & co pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

Mines has spent 7 years+ telling us about all these hats that he is expecting rabbits to pop out of yet not a single one has ever appeared.

Although he has done very well out of BIOM in that time and 'earned' over a £million + perks & benefits.

From 3p to 0.003 can't be bad can it lol99% loss per share and all the assets sold .... Priceless and a bod that have no urgency Anyone notice that the grant money hasn't been noticed in any figure, no separation ie here's our cash balance which includes £800,000 with an additional £2,200,000 to come hmmmm I wonder why no clarity on the true position of the business Having been a major investor here tread with massive caution !!!!

The obligatory BIOM walk down is back in full swing.

Bid now dropped 10 pence since the weak update

MM's probably hung on expecting to see a director dip their hand in their pockets!

That would be a very, very long wait. Too busy riding the gravy train to venture any of their own funds.

Struggling to marry these 2 statements up

From the 30th March final results

'In addition, a further temperature resistant product entered the commercial phase during 2015 which is expected to add substantial incremental revenues over the coming periods as the manufacturing phase takes hold.'

Then,25 days later

'The new temperature-tolerant material underwent final customer production run trials in the quarter and revenues of this product are expected to build over the coming months.'

So we lost the word 'substantial' and moved back from the commercial phase to final customer production trials?

So what do BIOM mean by the term 'commercial phase'?

Clear to see why not a single director bought any shares at all following the end of year results.

They knew

If they don't buy any now then we have a pointer for how business has gone in April.

Who am I kidding? they don't risk their own money on this.

I concur that the first quarter results wern't fantastic but they aren't a disaster either, there is a long way to go this year and although I expect a fall in the share price today, I'm confident that IF the full year develops as planned the share price will be nearer £3 than £2....steady as she goes !
