23/8/2016 11:56 | Selling the RF business? At 1x sales would bring in £3m, so not surprising in that event stock moving quickly (mkt cap circa £2m before today).Would give them a lifeline for several years to develop the core technologies. | wigwammer
23/8/2016 10:14 | Lol. Same old same old was tempted to do the predictable trade after the 2,000 move the share price 5%Be very wary at the moment they may have moved forward but history tells you the all they had was £1mln a few months back and they already warned against slower than expected sales in both divisions so cash will be getting swallowed by the board so a fund raiser is still on the cards | sirmark
23/8/2016 09:46 | I noticed the move too, maybe a delayed trade later | alchemy30
23/8/2016 09:23 | Wtf is happening today? | jmf69
18/8/2016 20:47 | Got to love this line from there recent statement (was looking to see if there was anything that would suggest possible increase in the suppressed so)The Group's cash position at 27 June 2016 is £1.0m (31 March 2016: £1.6m) reflecting the current trading activity and timing of anticipated cash receipts from work in progress in the Stanelco RF division. So it doesn't actually say they have a £1m only that's the figure with the anticipated cash receipts ???Also this little gem The Group has just completed such a review and the Board continues to believe that the long-term outlook for these products remains very positive. In the short term, however, it believes the likely demand will be less than originally thought?? This will result in a near-term fall in anticipated revenues(so less revenue ?)A similar review will be undertaken at the end of August, (prior to, so this review should be underway as we speak)prior to the Group's Interim Statement.Alarm bells are ringing, can the continue as a going concern .... My thoughts no chance from December (if they make it that long without some corporate action) they have sold everything but the RF business and that was on the cards years ago when o spoke to mines for about £3mln but knowing mines that will be £500k at best just to keep in a job and the money don't forget will be so "the board can focus on the biome biz" as I'm sure that takes all of ten minutes a month !!!!I Haven't shorted before but to be honest I'm so tempted to go short before next week Good luck for those left | sirmark
09/8/2016 21:25 | GOOD I OUT IN £1 75 A SHARE KEEP A PROFIT GOOD | staffy dog
04/8/2016 09:38 | No mate this is why I got out the business model for the bio capsules is purchased from our old partners and we at fully reliant on what they charge us .... And to top it of now the weak pound will have a negative impact on the bio side however to balance that off the RF side should do well with the current fx | sirmark
03/8/2016 09:52 | sirmark 1 Aug'16 - 08:57 - 7484 of 7486 0 0 The crazy thing is the only real business these guys are doing is for product the don't even make..... They are just sales agents now for Biotec -------------------- Is that right Sirmark? I thought they made the bio pellets and sold them on to the end product makers. I see an opportunity here for taking advantage of the bag charge, now the customers have to pay for the bags it would be possible for the likes of Tesco to make the ones they still use compostable and give themselves an environmental pat on the back at no cost to themselves.. hxxp://www.gizmodo.c | vaneric
01/8/2016 16:59 | ...plus the fact that the whole market knows Mines is incapable of running BIOM without spending cash like water and generating zip for shareholders. | begorrah88
01/8/2016 14:18 | Hardly likely to be that considering the volume of shares turnover. Investment funds tend to want to see some liquidity, which is nothing at the moment, so if they got in, how would they see a way to get out. | mulligut
01/8/2016 08:57 | The crazy thing is the only real business these guys are doing is for product the don't even make..... They are just sales agents now for Biotec ... How long till Rogers go direct and cut out the middleman??? Also they can't control there costs of the product as that's dictated by there old partners. Not a good set up for making a strong business too many veribles out of there control. They should sell the bio biz and concentrate on building and selling the RF biz and return the £3/£4mln back to shareholders .... It's not a lot but a plan so shareholders get something rather than the inevitable fund raiser coming soon. What price will that be .??? £0.25p | sirmark
01/8/2016 08:42 | Where are our boys? Oh yes sailing!! | boldtrader
27/7/2016 06:41 | Since the dreadful trading update where the share price halved and everyone that had an investment in BIOM lost half their money, Mines has rooked £10k+ benefits & perks out of the business as a reward for his failure. How much of this last months salary has he spent on buying these cheap shares to show some support for the stock - 0, Nil, nada, zilch not a single penny. That tells you where the company is heading What a shocking CEO Mines has been for all concerned yet still not a mention of any of the board cutting back their hugely disproportionate incomes. | begorrah88
13/7/2016 12:30 | Not much money left to be worried about at this stage. | mulligut
13/7/2016 12:08 | Don't get me started on tackovers Paul went chasing this dream before and cost us money for the process !!!! Only to not seek the correct approval from Andy Schroeders | sirmark
13/7/2016 11:54 | But the volume of shares is not even large enough so that any new investors would not be able to get liquidity, posing greater risk of getting even a small injection away. The only way that they would get it away is if the new injection is offering under EIS or VCT which gives a further tax benefit to investors. Alternatively they would have to do an acquisition of a larger company with a small enough equity play, but large debt provision to avoid any of the issues relating to the takeover code. | mulligut
13/7/2016 11:26 | What price will be the rights issue ??? 50p ? They have to make it attractive to the mugs | sirmark
04/7/2016 16:25 | shame they took out the small pi`s with the buy back of share`s....as they would of kept this alive....show`s no respect | dreamtwister
04/7/2016 13:28 | Warning to anyone thinking of investing in BIOM Be very, very wary of the next RNS you see from Mines. He will have to try and pull some rabbit out of the hat before issuing a cash call, as no-one would want to know on the current position at any price in my view. Therefore I suspect, like usual, he will claim some potential deal is in the offing, subject to final trials etc etc We've seen it so many times before and then nothing materialises after they've got the cash - the only thing you will see is the board taking holidays and everything going quiet at BIOM once they've got the cash to keep their incomes coming in. | begorrah88
01/7/2016 09:33 | Yep, cash call coming in my view. None of the board offering any support by way of buying and down again today. | begorrah88 |
