Just the sector news, not AVN but interesting if you are watchful.

Note yorgi controls every thread he posts on or has an interest in.

Unusual I don't know perhaps loads do this

Yorgi - this was a very worthwhile thread. I no longer see what that deluded nutter superg1 says because I have him filtered - but from other posters' responses he is evidently wrecking the usefulness of this thread and driving those interested in Avanti away.

I am tempted to set up a fresh PBB/FBB r/w Avanti thread excluding his input, and will likely do so if he persists in wrecking this one.

You are verging on defamation, another serious criminal offence in the UK and I would tread extremely carefully.

The authorities are watching this thread and will be fascinated why you are spending so much time trying to talk down the share price through innuendo and hearsay.

Rest

Just to make it clear my interest isn't Avanti or their future it's a few posters on here and iii who may (I say may) be trying to mislead investors.
It could be over enthusiasm, it could be something else. Time will tell. Just an opinion that

Probably one of the same under different 'nicknames', plus 1 person who works for iii who does appear to have some issues addressed.

Yorgi

You quite clearly control this thread to an advantage of only postive posts, one mentioned that earlier, perhaps not in the right manner.

Consider your intention not mine.

Rest

You are clearly not listening perhaps you are one of them. I will wait to speak to my colleagues from the city of London.

Itried to drop a hint with Flint house perhaps the colleagues hint is enough for you, now desist with your claims.

I have evidence in certain regards and it is being investigated. Carry on with Avanti but take posts here with a large pinch of salt. DYOR. as you would expect.
Look at Vb6's post on iii re me, I posted nothing that would invoke a ban and stuck to the T and C.

If you have contacted city of London it shows you are genuine (I have given them all my details via email to contact me) . Ask yourself how the recent post of Jeffries details were obtained. If they are in the public domain all well and good. If not what then?. Who is the honest one. I'm not a team I am just 1 guy, the team are right under your nose and it's not me.

No. They are a busy bunch and with the telecoms down yesterday it didn't help.

ADVFN have though.

Rest just a question as you mention 3 brokers. Who are they and are they independent of Avanti. Jeffries are not, neither are ge cr as in the thread links

That makes three separate brokers in three weeks with price targets around the £25 mark.

It seems Jeffries International has put out a note on AVN. I don't see how to get hold of it but a poster on iii has given some detail.

tiggerman1 writes:

"AVN is a potential Footsie 100 company in / within 5 years plus.

Assuming that there are no launch or commissioning disasters, which there should not now be,( fingers crossed ) then AVN will own an asset that already has a good / very good list of queuing customers ( more announced in the last couple of days ) with others that will soon emerge with the successful launch. There is already well inexcess of 25% capacity presold. Jeffries International calculate ( in their very detailed and heavily discounted figures ) that breakeven for Hylas 1 wil be 41% of capacity sold. ( only 23% bandwidth presold for Hylas 2 and 3 needed to break even ). Sales in excess of breakeven are hugely profitable.

Hylas 1 is expected to be in positive profit area by 2012.With EPS of £0.11 by 2012 .

Assuming successful launch and commissioning of Hylas 2 ( Q2 2012 ) and Hylas 3 ( 2014 / 15 ) EPS will rise to £1-94 by 2015 and ? potentially £3-04 by 2018.

EPS of £1-94 X 14 ( Jeffries Int. assumption ) gives a 2015 share price est. of around £27-00

On top of all that , it is more than likely that this will become a dividend paying company."

ib

Perhaps you were involved in the good ole days, but in those days you must know how the old pals act works, it was rife. Trust me I know first hand.

Weildy on iii is ex Met done he's 30 years, look on iii (AVN post) we are in contact with each other. All I did was sort an issue for someone else who couldn't. That's it and it will be sorted soon, either by iii or the city of London Police. ADVFN contacted too.

Which force were you I was trying to work out ib, I'm guessing 1905 was your collar number. I have access to flint house too.

Nobody has commented on this....

Avanti will now continue with a pre-service mission which is using HYLAS to demonstrate certain capabilities that are relevant to future business,

That sparked my interest,no comment about what type of mission. They did add some improvements to the specified design pre launch which haven't been detailed.

Maybe a contract for the Welsh secret service.....

IB - everything that needs to be said has been said.

AVN have been selling satellite internet service on rented satellite's for 3 years. It has enabled them to validate the market assumptions and more importantly to develop and test in a live environment. All this talk of latency is such rubbish....AVN haven't just launched a satellite with a hope and a prayer.

HYLAS 2 has beeen financed via an £89m placing and £194m from the Export Credit Agency debt facilities. The debt is at 5.7%, which isn't too bad and is repayable over 7 years from December 2012.

They also raised £70m to refinance an expensive PIK bond, which now gives them a two year breathing space to generate strong cash flows in order to be able to repay this refinancing.

So. The scene is set. Satellite 1 is up and running, Satellite 2 will be launched in 2012. But we need to think ahead. They have enough spectrum to launch 20 satellites. How exciting is that?

They have now sold capacity to over sixty service providers in Europe. What we have been seeing since launch is new customers.

We know they are talking to not one but two mobile phone operators and any day now we could get an announcement.

They are on schedule to sell out capacity on Hylas 1 in 3 years and Hylas 2 in five years.

That's it. What else is there to say.
