04/9/2017 13:33 | Texas governor Greg Abbott estimates that hurricane damage to the state will be between $150 and $180 billion. | fenners66
04/9/2017 13:12 | Plus 500 (quoted ) operate spreadbet markets on cryptocurrencies. It has been liked to selling spades to Bulb growers. Up or down the Bookie can win. | fenners66
04/9/2017 11:11 | Good day uppompeii I recently saw a list of cryptocurrencies there were approx eight. I have read how bitcoin operates a couple of times and still don't understand it, so no chance of me getting involved with them. Having typed that I would be prepared to venture a fiver for £20,000 return. | bracke
04/9/2017 10:01 | I have sold all my AHT Shares. I was looking for 1740 but wary of the current situation and the possibility of a pullback. | bracke
04/9/2017 08:25 | Closed all bets and sold half of my shares. Do not like the look of the market . cheers | 2flatpack
03/9/2017 22:32 | Yes, that's so much better. | fenners66
03/9/2017 12:46 | ian I suspect fenners doesn't do irrational exuberance, more like the occasional frisson of moderate satisfaction. | bracke
02/9/2017 09:44 | fenners66 lol!! In my generation, it's expected of us! . | ianwwwhite
01/9/2017 22:12 | Lord knows I'm miserable enough on every other thread I go on...... | fenners66
01/9/2017 18:39 | bracke I just thought that 'the gap' issue needed to be restated in the context of the new 'Fenners happiness index' - we don't want another premature outbreak of irrational exuberance, do we? . | ianwwwhite
01/9/2017 18:31 | Please try and keep up ian. I mentioned the gap in posts 54276 and 54278. We now await the price action at 1720. US markets closed on Monday. | bracke
01/9/2017 18:19 | But what, no mention of the gap? Worrying, very worrying :-) . | ianwwwhite
01/9/2017 17:35 | That's much better | fenners66
01/9/2017 16:27 | Well fenners are you happy now! | bracke
31/8/2017 17:05 | Oh dear fenners you've been involved with shares long enough now to know that following a big move there is likely to be a retrace. This share has spoiled you with its 2016 continuous rise. OK it had a big dip but has pulled most of the way back up. (Thinks...how can I mollify him. I know) The Qtr 1 Results and AGM are on 12 September so the share price is bound to respond for that. (They better be good otherwise there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth). | bracke
31/8/2017 16:19 | Certainly not happy now! | fenners66
31/8/2017 13:06 | fenners Are you never satisfied! (silly question) Following a 73 point rise yesterday surely it's allowed a little breather | bracke
31/8/2017 12:07 | Set off nicely this morning ... and then dropped back. Come on AHT there was more rain in Louisiana ... | fenners66
31/8/2017 11:09 | Good day ian "Now if only I could overcome the feeling of unease which benefiting from the misfortunes of others brings..." ==================== I expect most of us have thought about that. We have no control over such events and we take the smooth with the rough. Good day 2flat They certainly act as s/r but usually are short lived. Good day fenners Professional because that's how they earn a living.......doesn't mean that they are any good at what they do. Looking at the 3 month chart above it will be seen that 1690/1700 zone provided resistance previously but the share price was in decline at the time. Given the current situation the probability is for less resistance at that zone. | bracke
30/8/2017 19:50 | March 2013 "The company said its performance continues to be driven mainly by Sunbelt where rental revenue in the quarter grew 27 percent. The quarter was enhanced by the impact of Hurricane Sandy and the company estimates that this event contributed around 5 percent. The company said this one-time benefit will not carry forward into the next quarter." | fenners66
30/8/2017 19:05 | Thanks bracke I do use fib levels . Its just, I've never heard of them being referred to as a resistance levels, the way you have. Cheers | 2flatpack
30/8/2017 18:59 | Makes you wonder why these professionals are "professional" ? We noted that the Hurricane would likely add more work for Sunbelt , days later the share price reacts... unless someone knows any other reason? | fenners66
30/8/2017 18:30 | URI are currently up a further 3.7% at 119.25! Not a holder of URI, but it bodes well for AHT which I still hold, when we open tomorrow. Now if only I could overcome the feeling of unease which benefiting from the misfortunes of others brings... . | ianwwwhite |
