Good example how responsive this is now becoming to price of gold & minimal buying volumes.One of these days we will get some exploration news and plenty more might regret their selling. Would be nice if that news came out intra-day rather than at 7am

Quick trawl reveals no news but not checked the Azer sites for production update release.

Just need to remain patient with AAZ.

Jeanesy I summarised this in my post a couple of days ago, AAZ have some short term challenges that we are all aware of. Hence the market is a little tentative.

Not much to say jeanesy ... the buyer got his 90k over the last 3 days and was not in evidence today so, a small number of sells had a disproportionate effect on the price.Between 0 & 5 trading sessions until next news item is released & then there will be something new to digest.I suspect today's sharp reversal in pog may have caught several out.Trump is a loose cannon in many regards & it appears USA may be presided over by Twitter from now on.

What is happening with our board? Can we get back to comments that are relevant please ?!! POG has been moving up steadily recently and yet our shareprice has fallen- unlike most other miners ! There have been some quite large sales too. All a tad worrying imo. I cant help but think that the update is going to be disappointing and somehow this has been leaked? ! Im expecting disappointing production last month, but am hoping it will have nothing to do with poor grades, only the very cold weather which always affects our production. News could be as soon as tomorrow , so there isn't long to wait !!!

It is small company not moving up much
....yet. A lot of the rest of the market is going up, hence people get out into what is moving up.

To anyone here who may have been keeping an eye on Aurum Mining (AUR), it
has now changed name to Shearwater Group plc, SWG.

It currently still has its gold and tungsten assets.

Yep filtered them out too. They can talk about tea, coffee and kettles all day long now :-)

Gold looks good for $1,200 bit will take some time to push through there.

I'm expecting a similar first half of 2017 for the miners compared to 2016. Any decent news flow here along with a rising gold price and we'll see higher highs.

Regrettably zhockey, have done same .. I can't do much about 'blue' posters other than filter them.The thread, by & large, remains a good one I believe but, one has crept in under the radar so, another one for the filtered list now.Will be telling how the main indexes react to Trump's election & also Gold. Could be a volatile 2-3 weeks ahead.Meanwhile, for such a long time, AAZ has reliably sold off on results & then recovered a couple of days later .. let's see how the market digests the next update & forward guidance for 2017.As per others here, I will be quite happy with Gold @ $1250 guesstimated for 2017 ... but, I remain convinced it will go far higher this year. Interestingly the buyer has got his fill in auctions this last 2 days
