csalvage, because as will see further up the thread, it was trading at a significant discount to NAV last week.

GBP has fallen against USD over the weekend and according to Numerco, spot U3O8 has gone up this morning, further increasing NAV and the discount.

Good to see the wide discount squeeze in on the back of two very strong candles. I calculate we are at 4% discount now. Well done to those who snaffled a few YCA shares on Friday mornings big dip - I didn't as already overweight on this sector.

As @kiwi mentioned, we can hopefully expect some more upward pressure on the spot U price with Sprott on the bid with a healthy cash balance again.

John Quakes has updated his case for Uranium. Good reading for those new to the sector.

NAV chart much appreciated, thank you for posting.

Me thinks the west obsessed for 20 years about green whilst our friends thousands of miles away upscale their military. Long uranium, long PGMs, long iron ore and yes long defence which is going to get a major tailwind.

At close with U3O8 at $46.50 and some movement in cable, I make the NAV now 363p. 12% discount to NAV. It can't be long before YCA catches up with the U price.

bought more at 299.5p this morning - such a discount to NAV - someone is forced selling to meet margin, i would guess.

I am little frustrated to see YCA selling at large discount while Sprott Physical Uranium Trust selling at premium, yet with the same exposure of physical uranium.

It is linked to this. At a 14% discount to NAV this is a great opportunity

Was wondering the same. 14% discount now.

Any idea of why YCA drop 6% now?

That was quick. Sweden halts Uranium deliveries from Russia.

It remains to be seen how much more Uranium supply chain disruption will ensue. Remember about 20% of US and European Uranium comes from Russia.

I suspect there will be a scramble for "Western" Uranium (Canada and Oz, maybe Namibia) to ensure security of supply for western nuclear plants. But it will take a while to get a clear picture.

I added again just before the close - good margin of safety on the price, against current spot.

Great news out of France. 6 new reactors, plans for a further 8 and extending the life of the existing fleet.

The WNA reference scenario is looking increasingly pessimistic.

Interesting stuff. 50% divi increase and re-opening McA. pretty positive for both CCJ and the U market. Not surprised it's up today.
