30m new shares issued. Average daily volume is what, 2 million? It's going to take a few weeks to work off the churn of these new shares, imo

Thanks. Yes I think trading view and market insider are always out of date prices. I think means yellow cake has bought the latest uranium at a premium to spot. I'm sure yellow cake know what they are doing and have a good idea of where the price will be in future. Figures crossed we get some market stimulating news soon.

Yup mid-price is $42.40'ish. I reckon YCA is sitting back about NAV here. I wasn't surprised at the pull back in YCA due to the premium which had moved outside the norm. But I have been surprised at the pull back in U spot price. The premium dissipating after the share offering, combined with the big spot price pull back, has weighed heavy on the share price. Chart looks a little bit ugly. Hopefully it can settle and recoil soon.

Looks like that price comes from Tradingview? Numerco is much lower, and is the price most seem to go off: Https://twitter.com/numerco/status/1455807095564013573

I don't think so Weaver. Low 40's according to numerco. Spot #uranium 4175/4300 USc/Lb #U3O8 (Delivery at CMO , Chg -25c, -0.59%) CMO = CVD 0c/Lb, CMO = CMX 0c/Lb

Thanks for that jonwig. Interesting that they have downgraded their production forecast due to some supply chain issues. Forecast sales have gone up, so they have been buying on the spot market to maintain inventory.

Interesting that the 1m lbs they're buying from KAP won't arrive until June 2022. In September, KAP said they had already sold all of their 2021 production. Does this mean that they don't have spare capacity until June next year?

Bought in today. Just a few for the kids. If the uranium bulls are right, hopefully in a decade or so, this small investment will be fairly decent. Maybe sooner, of course. Or maybe not. GLA.

Trade Tech set their month end term price tomorrow. I have seen speculation that the spot price has been suppressed by traders to keep the term price down The brakes will likely come off the spot price next week.

should catch up with the placing price of 364p and head higher sooner rather than later imo especially with COP26 imminent; anything lower looks like a good buying opportunity?

I have NAV around 361. I have simply added on the 3m lbs and the extra 30m shares. But we need to see the end cash position once the purchase is complete and the results of the KAP sale and buyback to be more accurate.

Placed at 364p. Did they want speed or optimum price? They certainly got speed. I guess they could have got a better price by widening the net, but that would have been pedestrian. Adding at 363p seemed to make sense. Kiwi, have you a NAV estimate?

YCA raising $150m to buy ~3m lbs of Uranium. 1m lbs from KAP and 2m from Curzon who are getting it from CGN. Interesting that the Chinese are letting some of their inventory go.
