Does that mean you are a true Wally?

You have what we call the English monoglot advantage: you speak only one, at most two, languages so that you can then look down on the rest of us. I am well below the salt because I speak 6 languages. Eight if you count Latin and ancient Greek.

So you don't know. Thankfully we have cleared that one up.

Sorry about my English. Got confused with my French. I lived in Wallonia for a while.

perchance is one word, OK?

Thrashing around for any possible bit of bad news just like all the other loser-trolls.

LOL

You don't know, do you?

You seem a bit stressed. Losing money per chance?

LOL

How do you know it wasn't made by WPCT?

Ref Reaction Engines

"Rolls-Royce and Boeing HorizonX Venture, the investment arm of the aircraft maker, will become strategic investors in the company, while financial investments are being made by Baillie Gifford Asset Management and ➡️ Woodford Investment Management ⬅️."

Well said IQ151, and Mazarin.

Dafty (LOL) was right in one aspect, strangely. We are all gloating at the troll implosion, and getting richer ourselves.

Does that count as a ramp, I wonder?

Daffy you seem to assume 'they' bought in at launch price. I bought when it was much less. I'm not crowing, simply stating fact and not particularly happy with the situation cos' I expected better returns, however, was mindful of the name - PATIENT. I could have sold in Aug 17 when it was 105p, but didn't. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.....! It always tells you when its too late to do anything about it. A skill that many here appear to be well practised at...!

What is funny though is a lot of private investors are
more able than some that run large funds,
without taking on to much risk.

Really bizarre how all the WPCT rampers have come out of the woodwork to gloat about a 9% rise in the share price.

The shares are still 17% below their launch price. WPCT will need to rise by 45% from its current level in order to meet its cumulative hurdle for Woody to receive a fee. By any reckoning, WPCT is still far underperforming against expectations and against the general market.

Yes it's nice that the share price has risen to 83.4p but don't overdo the celebrations.
Don't worry, when it gets back to 100p I'll be the first to congratulate you all on finally breaking even.

Lol - you guys are funny. Keep losing money if you like. I haven’t pinned my post anywhere, but glad someone else has posted it at the top of the page for extra prominence and glad you like it!
Let’s see what lurks in the long awaited Annual Report. Should be worth a good laugh.

You say it is a fair comment but it is a trite, unsupported comment. Nowhere is the place to be if things get bearish, unless you're shorting. I'd prefer to be out of the market altogether.

Of course you genius trolls know instinctively where to put your money in a falling market.

I wish I could believe what I just said, LOL. I don't really want to offend you but there's not one troll here who appears to know anything really about investment. Topvest, your mate,in particular. Just look at that stupid post at the top of the page!

Troll watch,
We will see. Most are longer term investors here, can not all be as good at you
trading in and out.
What I have said is a fair comment, this is not a place to be if things get
bearish.

Just a little post-script. I was walking the dog on the beach just after the tide went out this morning and came across a bedraggled, tiny, pair of budgie-smuggler swimming trunks in the mud. Embroidered on them was the name 'topvest'.

How poignant.

You are right trollwatch. Just look at "topvest's" extremely silly post 2394 which he has pinned to the top of the page here. Such arrogance also.

Top, never mind surprising, it's a Christmas miracle, oh yeah, large bids still there.

I think it is genuine comment on this fund and how it has been run.
Woodford has a lot to prove and he is definitely taking a few gambles
more than when he ran funds in invesco so successfully.
Edinburgh inv trust did well for me under his watch,
can not say the same for this and some of the gambles taken here in
desperation not to swallow humble pie, time will surely tell.

It's a bit surprising that it closing in on the stated net asset value. Down but not yet out!
