Guys this Trollwatch is in fact an algo driven virus because it has attached itself to my postings on other threads.

I am just concerned that readers might start to ascribe an importance, weight and gravitas to these posts that may not be warranted solely on the alleged Tim Winnerforth association.

Well perhaps my tone yesterday afternoon was a bit strong and was really meant in a tongue in cheek spirit. I don't know who LW is in real life but he is a decent wordsmith I'll give him that.

I think the rm2 investment is good because I read the failure was to do with the manufacture and not the product itself, which has won an award. I believe demand might be there, perhaps wood pallets don't have the longevity to make tracking devices viable.

Assuming demand is real it looks a brave decision to me. He has control of the company, the payoff could be huge. The real disaster is for existing shareholders. The investment is small and the potential payoff big, the very opposite of the Capita investment it would seem.

I really can’t believe he’s putting that much into RM2. Its beyond belief. Can the man not admit to being wrong? I don’t think I’ve seen any admission of failure for the horrendous investment decisions being made. Great investors apologise when they hoof it up rather than ploughing more money in.
There’s really nothing wrong with wooden pallets. Inventing something that isn’t needed (and made of plastic) is a bit of a schoolboy error!

Thanks EI some good detail there.

Capita down sixpence today I see. Would be amazing if Woody fired a third bullet at this.

Littleweed you ain't really finished yet yo, I was joking back there. Like Marcus Aurilius in Gladiator they will have another mission for ya. And well done for busting those councillors, was it Westminster???

Well our boss has had a busy week, maybe rm2 is da bomb!!!

itcm, AZN is surprising in relation to Neil's strong rejection of the PFE bid,
and the case he made for longer term value creation potential.

Where Neil has been astute is on some exits, BT.A, CNA and now BATS were
very well timed. Buying BUR was also a great call, Mike Barnet had that as well.

The adding to positions such as CPI or AA, is not a rational I can relate to.

I bought some EDIN early this week as it was trading at an approx 10% discount,
EDIN traded at a small premium at one stage when Woodford ran the fund.

Big defensive bid been pushing this up today, 455,000 on one order.

They have a tendency to evaporate once they start getting hit.

When this was hovering around 70p I could, kind of, understand the mockery directed at Woodford and us investors. I appreciate many still have a large paper loss, but some like me, are sitting on a 7% gain after a few weeks, yet the mockery and vitriol continues. I don't see many other funds that have risen in the same timeframe. It is all beginning to sound at best hollow and at worst well, perhaps I will leave it at that...

EI it is good to touch base with someone interested in the other funds.

The recent EI selling down of the Astrazenica holding and purchase of Lloyds, Barratt and TW is interesting because it is increasing the bet on the UK economy. The risk profile has gone up.

You make a good point re QE but Woodford had factored that in. He is basically saying the lower £, improving productivity will lead to 2% growth and wages higher than inflation.

Personally I think Brexit will be a drag on growth and this retail recession will hit consumer confidence. Housing is slowing and consumer borrowing going up, which does not look good for his funds in the near term imo.

Will be pleased to hear the bull case tho.

I have no interest in what TW thinks, or in WPCT.
Like many I'm interested in both his income focus and the main income fund.

Given Neil's exceptional longer term record, his positioning is worth keeping
an eye on. QE has not played to his strengths, that may change.

Well littleone the tie up with ADVFN must be some weird hugger mugger deal as one TW has been exceptionally rude about a certain cryptocurrency offering.
